Thanks to a great BA friend for sharing his growler...
Poured a dark cloudy gold or amber with a two-finger off-white head with good retention for an DIPA. Lacing was lasting but thin. Nose was grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine but clearly some sweetness. Taste follows. This is very well balanced and not a DIPA which hits you with bitterness or big beer ABV. Grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, orange are there but so is a very nice, sweet malt. Not cloying at all and not even overly sticky. Aftertaste is unusual and hard to describe but definitely some interplay between dry and sweet. I love interesting beers and this is one. Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated which gives it a nice edge. While I didn't have the opportunity, I could have had a LOT more of this. This is a beer and brewery that needs to grow FAST! Just a great beer.

Bottled 4/24 and poured into my Teku...
A - Dark orange appearance, super sticky lace is all over the glass throughout consumption
S - Nice floral aroma, some muted cluster of fruits, grass and very dank
T - Citra wallops you in the face, grapefruit, oranges and the malt backbone is pretty significant
M - Medium body, mild carbonation, decent hop bite on the palate
O - This is a pretty great DIPA, which seems to be the common saying these days. I love the citra and malt combination as they balance each other out greatly both upfront and on the finish. Excellent beer.

Poured from the bottle into a small snifter.
A: Rich golden color with a short light tan head. Very honey-blonde in appearance.
S: Big juicy hop aroma with some caramel and light fruit.
T: Lots of citra hop flavor and some caramel with a lasting bitterness that isn't overpowering; plenty of fresh juicy fruit notes.
M: Smooth and semi-sweet with a dry, slightly bitter finish.
O: This was a very fresh bottle, less than three weeks old and I was very impressed. I am not typical an IPA fan, let alone DIPA, but I would drink this again in a heart beat. Gotta love those big citra-hop beers!
