Half finger head with decent lacing on a murky copper golden body. Aroma is typical soapy, earthy, citrus cascade hops. Flavor also follows as excepted from cascade hops including earthy and musty flavors initially fading to tart and sour but understated citrus on a caramel malt base. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Overall a nice single hop beer. This one may be on the older side but still very good.

Pours a very pretty hazy orange. Smells of some citrus and pine. Really nice nose on this one, although its a bit faint. Lots of citrus and pine here. Some orange peel character. Incredibly drinkable. Call me crazy but almost reminds me of heady-lite. This is easily one of the best pale ales I've had in a while! Cheers.

On tap at the brewery, into a pint glass

A: bright golden orange, very hazy, small head, barely any lacing

S: spicy, floral, pine. Really nice but fairly mild.

T: lots of piney bitterness, citrus rind, floral hops, oranges. Tons of flavor. Awesome.

M/D: full body, carbonation on heavy side, good drinkability

O: Really great American pale. One of the best I've had really. Huge flavors for the style. Highly recommend.

Appearance: slightly hazy orange in color with a 2" head that lasted a while. Moderate lace stuck to the sides of the glass.

Smell: loads of citrus and caramel are easy to detect with some floral bitterness in the background.

Taste: caramel, bread, orange, hint of grapefruit, and a moderate bitterness create a refreshing pale ale.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Lightly crisp throughout. Aftertaste is short lived.

Drinkability: very easy to drink this beer. I was able to enjoy a few in one session and the last one tasted as good as the first.

A: Pours a transparent not-so-pale caramel color with a nice fluffy cap. Retention is pretty good

S: Classic cascade; tons of citrus, fresh squeezed orange juice, light tropical fruit. Light backing if cracker like malts. Awesome

T: Kind of lacking complexity, but still delicious. Lots of citrus and orange juice, bread, and bubblegum? out of nowhere. Amazingly fresh and semi-bitter

MF/D: A little lighter than I expected and prefer, but really delicious and easily drinkable. Great tailgate beer or drink-outside beer

Thanks Greenville Beer Exchange for this cheap an delicious growler fill
