brought back from NC by my buddy kent - thanks.

poured cold from the bottle to a lawson's finest liquids flared pilsner a crisp clear, translucent sunlight gold with a full finger foamy white, short lasting head leaving a thin rim of lace.

aroma of citrus rind, faint overripe banana and spice.

light bodied, big carbonation, creamy smooth, sweet with a bit of belgian yeast-y bread-y tang. lemon rind, spice.

very drinkable @ 4.something.

A - Pours a bright hazed golden yellow with a finger of white head, 20 minutes after the pour a decent layer remains across the entire surface. Nice lacing. Coast beers are pretty much always unfiltered and pretty as can be.

S - Lots of coriander/spices, some orange rind, light grassy hops and caramel malts. Slight yeasty/clove aroma. Fairly faint overall, as I've come to expect from a witbier

T - Tons of coriander spice initially (slight hint of bitterness perhaps - hops pretty non existant), maybe a little too much, it tends to dominate leaving only subtle orange flavors that shine through the spice at the finish. Aftertaste is sweet malts and cloves. The finish is actually fantastic.

M - Relatively thick for the style, again, i find most Coast brews to have wonderful yet similar appearences and mouthfeels. Decent carbonation, medium bodied overall.

O - Pretty tasty, a bit heavy on the spices which kind of overpower other flavors id like to have gotten more out of. Still pretty enjoyable, i just think if this was a bit more mild it would better serve its purpose
