A - Pours a glowing hazy yellow with over a finger of near white head. Retention is strong and lacing is fantastic. Spotty (70%) lacing all the way up the glass. Nice thick but not overly dense outer ring remains 10 minutes later.
S - Tons of light caramel malts (relatively speaking), light citrus (lemon and orange) and light hops. Very grassy, easy aroma.
T - Literally the perfect combination of sweet malts but light and citrusy (lemon), grassy hops that leave a refreshing (light but well defined) bitterness at the aftertaste through the finish.
M - Light bodied, good carbonation, amazingly drinkable. If I want a go-to, easy drinking pale (or anything for that matter) this is in my top 5, easy.
O - Honestly one of the best easy drinking beers I've ever had, I think I gave it a quick 4 last year but this is deserving of more.

Served from growler in to New Belgium globe. Poured a golden yellow with one finger white head that subsided to a minimal amount slowly. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, earth, earth hop, citrus, citrus hop, fruit, and skunky hop. The flavor was of sweet malt, grass, fruit, citrus, citrus hop, earth, and grass hop. It had a light feel on the palate with medium-high carbonation. Overall this was a fairly good brew. This one drank really well and was fairly light. The flavor was fairly complex and intriguing though which made it rather interesting and enjoyable. Definitely a crushable brew.

growler into a pint glass
Growler filled on the first day this beer was released, 9/26/13
A: Pours a very hazy, golden yellow-orange with 1/2 a fingers width of bright white colored head. Head dissipates down fairly quickly and leaves a good amount of lacing.
S: Huge citrus nose, lots of orange/tangerine. Citrus is accompanied by tropical fruit notes, pale malts, and floral hops.
T: Citrus rind, grapefruit, piney bitterness. Tons of bitterness in this pale.
M/D: Medium body, heavier carbonation, great drinkability.
O: Far above average APA. Definitely recommend. Its amazing how COAST seems to never miss.

A: Had this beer on-tap, at Gene's Hofbrau, poured into a pint glass. Had a golden yellow color and a hazy consistency. There was an inch of foamy head that lasted a good amount of time. Very good lacing.
S: A lot of citrus in the aroma, along with a solid shot of hops as well.
T: Tasted of pine, a bit of citrus (less than I expected), and a lot of hops. The hops presence is much more aggressive than in most APAs. It borders on being harsh, but is balanced out by the other components. A decent flavor.
M: A well-carbonated beer with a slick, somewhat oily finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A different type of APA (it's almost closer in spirit to an IPA) that's pretty easy to drink.
