On-tap at the BBW during Musikfest. This was the lone hoppy beer on the menu so I thought I'd give it a try. It appeared a clear red with a short off-white head. The aroma was a bit dead with just vague notes of caramel and pine. The flavor is a balance of very dry caramel and toffee notes with mild pine and grapefruit. On a basic level, this is a good beer, but it's just uninspiring. The flavor and aroma are a little weak for a great beer.

On tap at the Bethlehem Brew Works Brew Pub.

Poured a deep orange color (with a reddish tint) and a small sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, light chocolate, and floral (had a green leafiness to it). Tastes of light chocolate, caramel and some citrus. Light to medium bitter finish. Lacing left on the glass.

A new brew at the pub joing the popularity for this style. Deep Red colour and a little head. Grapefruit aroma. Pale and chocolate malts and Cascade and chinook hops. It was a good balance of the bitter and the malty and very drinkable, with above average carboanation. Tasted better when it warmed.
