Pours a hazy caramel with a huge off-white head that stays for a while and leaves a very nice sticky lacing.
The nose is like solid caramel, it's hard to even get hops off this one. Traces of pine notes are making me think of a Columbus bittering maybe?
The first taste is huge bodied caramel malt, followed closely by sweeter bittering hops with some floral notes around the edge, then the malt sweetness comes back to stay through the finish.
Thick body and with a ton of malty sweetness, not as hoppy as I was expecting, but overall enjoyable.
