Served in a chimay tulip

A - pours a murky yellow, lots of sediment, lots of carbonation.

S - funky and musty citrus, almost like lemon pledge

T - less lemon pledge, still funky but bitterness of the hops is quite prominent

M - well carbonated, lingering bitterness fades slowly

O - good sour from O'So, i need to try more of their newer stuff. Glad I have a bottle to lay down for a bit

Thanks to queens1130 for sharing this one at AndrewK's tasting.

Pours a murky dark honey orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, tropical fruit, earth, funk, and Brett aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, funk, Brett, and tropical fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of Brett bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an interesting combination of tropical fruit and Brett characteristics.

Thanks to Nick for this one, quick review from written notes.

It pours a dark saturated orange tone, showing bright clarity with a finger or two of off white foam. Lots of residual suds and lacing in the glass, looks good.

Aroma is pungent with Brett yeast right off the bat, minor wet hay and horseblanket notes, no indication of hops really aside from a nebulous fruitiness.

Taste also combines a fruity pineapple element with the dry farmy Brett character, possibly a couple different strains, I have no idea, but the fruity/tart and dry/funky combination would suggest as much. There is no traditional hop character to be found, and bitterness is minimal. It's lightly tart and fruity up front with a dry and funky residual Brett yeast impression. Body has fortitude, yet it's pretty drinkable. Had a second pour of this, shared 3 ways. Enjoyed this more than Saison Brett which seems more and more one dimensional lately. Recommend aging short term until summer months.

A-Cloudy bright orange, one finger head that leaves some lacing.

S-Good deal of funk, oak, grapes, wine and slight hops.

T-Slight funk, but the balance is off. Wine and oak as well.

M-Lighter to medium bodied, some carbonation.

O-The idea of a hoppy sour sound good, they came close to pulling it off but the hops just did not go with the funk/grape flavor.
