Clear orange, decent head.

Not too much going on with the smell, slight citrus note as it warms.

Crisp grain, hint of lemon or orange, toasted bread or cracker. Sort of an Octoberfest hop note.

Very crisp, smooth mouthfeel.

I thought this was very tasty, and a nice light option.

Pours clouded orange-ish amber with a thin white head that soon becomes a lasting ring, leaving some lacing.

The smell is floral, tangy/sour. Different. Pleasant enough.

The taste is more sour than tangy. There is some some sweet malt mixed in. Orange tang in the finish.

There is an initial fizz, which I suppose is the "zippy" part. Light-bodied. Pretty smooth. Odd aftertaste.

Well, it is a unique blonde ale. There is a component that reminds me of the powered orange Tang drink that I had as a child. The sour notes almost come across as an "infected" bottle, but not quite (thank goodness) and mild floral notes give it a dryness. Decent enough to drink the 6-pack, but I wouldn't run out for more. Sometimes "unique" is good, sometimes "unique" is just "different".

Bottle from Woodmans mix-a-six... "3226" inkjetted on the bottom. July 2013?

Murky orange pour, not much foam in the rinsed glass, soon the surface is still and glassy.

Smell is a little yeasty with a noticeable tang of wild yeast or bacteria, smells like Jolly Pumpkin Calabaza Blanca or a Berliner Weiss.

Taste is moderately tart, and it says "tangy" on the label so I'm guessing it's intentional. Lactic farmhouse funk, clean and dry finish, somewhat one dimensional. Light bodied and somewhat thirst quenching. Overall it's okay, almost seems like it was infected, but wasn't affected in a bad way. I've tried this before and don't remember it being this tart.

A: Light yellow in color. Hazy, but not to the point where the beer is pastel. Forms a modest-sized creamy white head. Some light lacing.

S: Aroma is fruity. Apple and apple sauce. Light wheat notes with a little bit of yeasty spice.

T: Taste is a mix of apple and lemon. Slightly floral. Slightly sour. A bit of wheat. Finish is thin. Taste is more like a not-very-good Saison than a Blonde.

M: Light bodied. Moderate carbonation. Dry on the finish. Virtually non-existent bitterness.

O: I believe the main problem with this beer is that it doesn't know what it wants to be. Overall its not necessarily bad. It's certainly drinkable. However, it's not necessarily all that great either. Not much more than average I guess.

Pours gold in color with a half finger white head that dissipates instantly

Nose has large wheat and grain character that smells extremely sweet with a musty hint of sour orange.

Taste is better then then smell. Large amounts of grain and wheat are overlayed with a sweet and sour flavor that doesn't overpower the character of the grainy malt. A musty orange flavor also is present.

Mouthfeel is good, medium body with mild carbonation.

There's something off about this. I'm not sure what but it feels like corn.

(Served in a bowtie glass)
A- This beer pours a clear dark orange body with a pale white head of bubbles that boils into a thin ring. There is a quick carbonation of bubbles pushing to the surface.

S- The clean aroma only has a slight tart note when it warms.

T- The gentle taste of dirt and pale malt lead to a faint corn hint with some green hop hues in the finish. There is a cream note in the finish and some sweet tart flavors come through as it opens but it is very clean in flavor.

M- The light mouthfeel has a soft fizz prick in the finish.

O- The crisp clean beer doesn’t have any off flavor and unfortunately has very little flavor at all. It went down fast but not enough character to reach for another.
