Pours a dense, resiny head that has good persistence and laces nicely. Nice, warm citrus/pine aroma with a slight sweetness behind it all. Amber-straw color. Starts with a bright grapefruit hoppiness, moves into a more floral character as the malt comes through. Peaks into a medium bitterness that is citrus rind. Finish is a nice mix of citrus and bitterness.

This is pretty good. A nice balance of hoppy and aromatic. Good malt presence, too. Quite a solid WI alternative to Hopalicious.

12 oz. bottle, with no apparent bottled on date present. I traded a friend two bottles of Hopothesis IPA for two bottles of this beer. My third beer from O'so Brewing Company. Expectations are in the high range since I've enjoyed the last beers I had from them.

Poured into The Godfather pint glass.

A - Pours about three fingers of foamy off-white head on top of a brassy orange colored body. Lots of fine sediment twirling around the glass.

S - Smell is kind of subdued: herbal grassy hop presence, peppery spice, lemongrass, rye, biscuit malts, touch of pine, and some cat piss acidity.

T - Taste exceeds the nose in terms of flavor if you ask me. A hint of peppery rye flavor, but not a lot. Lots of herbal / grassy hop presence, lemons, grapefruit, green apples, bready biscuit malts, and some tart, sugary tea leaf sweetness lingering on the finish.

M - Feel is of tart green apple skins, bready biscuit malts, and some dry hop resin. Crisp, ideal carbonation.

Overall, not the best I've had from O'so, but yet another highly drinkable, balanced, well-crafted beer. A nice take on the American pale ale, with a modest 6.00% abv, and I look forward to continue exploring their beers.

I picked up this single 12oz brown bottle as part of a build-your-own six pack for $9.99 at the Binny's store in Bloomingdale, IL, making them $1.67 each. No freshness date. Also of interest, the company website lists the abv at an even 6.0%, not the 5.5% listed here.

The beer poured a hazy honey gold color with 2-finger's worth of white head that lasts a few minutes and leaves some nice lacing.

Wonderful floral hop aroma with a touch of pine and citrus fruit underneath.

Wow, this is really good. Sweet malty backbone with a honey and almost buttery taste, balanced with mild piny and citrusy hops.

Smooth, creamy, medium bodied with higher than average carbonation, which keeps it nice and crisp.

Not a hop bomb, but a really tasty American Pale Ale. I loved it.

Hopdinger pours a dark golden color, with a very small lacing head. There is a earthy and slightly hoppy aroma. The taste has a nice hop bite to it, lots of earthy like flavors, and a subtle roasted taste. Full flavors, nicely carbonated. Overall a nice solid APA, not has hoppy or floral, but does have a subtle roasted flavor that is a bit of a change up.
