Appearance: Pours hazy, the amber liquid capped by an inch of foam; so-so retention and lacing

Smell: Apricot, pine, resins and grass

Taste: A touch of caramel lays the foundation and then the hops take over, bringing pine, lemon and grassy tones along with some apricot; the bitterness builds, after the swallow, though the malt returns in the finish to keep things in check

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Not a bad APA, but the hop profile tends toward bitterness without bringing enough of the citrus or pine to move it into a higher echelon

Pours a copper color with fine quality and plenty of lace. The aroma is full of citrus and some sweet malts. The taste has grapefruit citrus, some papaya, pith and sweet herb. Sugary, toasted malts lay a fine background but the beer is mostly bitter. Medium bodied feel and well carbonated. Overall, consider this a solid pale ale/almost IPA option if you can find it. Damn tasty.

This is ok. Basic pale ale. Not much flavor besides the hops, which is only ok. O’so definitely has better, but this is still ok.
