A - Big white head with nice stamina over a cloudy orange body.

S - Solid malt aroma with the trademark Belgian yeast scent.

T - A sharp banana flavor with a hint of spice all alongside the Belgian yeast strain.

M - Mildly coarse feel. Possibly a bit too carbonated.

~ This is a beer worth trying. I will recommend my friends have a sampling. I suggest you do the same.

Draft at Vintage, review from quickly written notes.

Glass arrives with a thin layer of white foam atop a golden body. Foam subsides after the first sip, leaving behind random spotty lace in the glass.

Pleasant aroma of oaky vanilla and Belgian yeast, as it warms up there are more complex notes of banana and toasted coconut when the glass is swirled.

Flavors of toasted oak and supporting vanilla, hinting at bourbon without the related alcohol heat. Honey and rose petal botanicals, dry and crisp feel, sweet/savory herbal notes of tarragon in the aftertaste. A complex and interesting beer, showcasing the French oak barrel and Belgian yeast esters. Recommended.
