Pours a deep amber color with a clear body and a light creamy white head. The aroma is very malty with some sweetness and some toasted characteristics. Some tartness interrupts the flavor and undoes any balance. Besides the tart quality, there is very little hop presence. The medium body gives the brew great mouthfeel, but the tartness and lack of complexity makes the drinkability suffer. Fades nicely through a long slow finish.

So there are Cardinal fans in Normal...
Reddish amber body, creamy head with some lace. Lightly spicy malt aroma. Bready. Low carbonation, that gives it a cask-ale homebrew feel.
Bready malt flavors mingle with a low caramel sweetness. Pretty basic, not especially exciting. Would be a decent session ale if you weren't into contemplating your beer.

Appearance: Slightly cloudy with a nice amber color with a nice tan head
Smell: Sweet caramel smell with very little bitterness present
Taste: Sweet caramel taste that finishes of with a slightly toasted taste. There is little to know bitterness as all even though some ambers can be more bitter.
Mouthfeel: Medium body that feels a little heavier then most red/amber ales.
