Had on tap at Destihl in Bloomington.
Look - A dark dark brown that is barely see-through with a fluffy tan head.
Smell - Dark chocolate and coffee as you'd expect from a stout with the slightest bit of piney hops.
Taste - Overpowering black coffee and roasted malt flavors with a strong lingering bitterness.
Feel - An unexpectedly thin body coupled with a moderate-high amount of carbonation make this feel like a refreshing drink even through its heavy dark flavors.
Overall - A nice enough stout but a bit unbalanced towards coffee on the "coffee to chocolate" ratio that I compare a lot of stouts to.

Just an average Stout. Nothing new but it is worthy.

I did not find this to be especially bitter as described. Actually, I found the maltiness to smooth out this stout, making it a very enjoyable quaff. The moderate ABV also contributes to the smoothness in a way higher alochol would likely not. This would be my choice whne spending an afternoon in conversations with friends.
