A - Brown beer with a bit of a khaki head that left some moderate sick on the sides.
S - Some light spices, little dark fruit, toasted malts, some coffee, chocolate. Great stuff for 2.8%.
T - Taste is pretty mild, with some roast and espresso coming through. It tastes a little watered down, but for the ABV it's actually quite flavorful. A little bready with some chocolate.
M - Lighter side of medium bodied, moderate carbonation.
O - I could drink growlers of this at 2.8%, preferably with some food. Great stuff for what it is.

On-tap at Destihl and out of a growler we brought back.
A - Pours a light brown body, light tan head, thin collar, spotty lace.
S - Roasted nuts, dark fruits, toasted bread, light cinnamon. Lots going on here and very enjoyable for only 2.8%. Crazy.
S - Similar to the nose, perhaps a bit less impressive. Roasted nuts, dark fruits, toasted break, cinnamon, hay.
M - Light body, lighter carbonation, easy to drink, clean finish.
O - Really impressive Mild at 2.8%...just super easy to drink and very enjoyable. We all really liked this one...would def get often if I lived near the brewery.

Not going to put an ABV here, as I've gotten conflicting reports ranging from 2.8% to 5.5%. Served in a Russian River tulip. Thanks to Sean, Chris, and Jason for picking up this growler.
A - A thin light tan foam settles to a wispy translucent cap and spotty lace. Dark brown body with some cherry highlights.
S - Surprisingly flavorful, with tons of chocolate, nuts, molasses, raisins, and dark fruits. If this is 2.8% it's the best aroma I've had from a beer that low in alcohol, if it's 5.5% it's merely good.
T - The taste is a little more watery, with an unexpected smokey note, and hop bitterness in the finish. Otherwise it's similar to the aroma, with chocolate, toasted bread, and nuts, but with substantially less sweetness.
M - Medium-light body, chewy texture, and lower carbonation. Dry and slightly grainy finish.
D - If this is indeed 2.8% you could put this back all night without any ill effects. I'd like to see more beers of this type around town, as long as they are appropriately priced. I may revisit my review once the ABV confusion gets sorted out, but I enjoyed this regardless.
