Amber red and slightly hazy with lots of carbonation and 3 fingers of beige head.
Smells of floral fruits, cherry and peach, as well as malty dough.
Malty toasted dough notes with hints of stone fruit. Light but dull bitterness on the finish.
Medium body and medium carbonation.
Got in Sacramento, drinking it Redding, Sept 17th, 2018. Decent brew.

Dark reddish copper colored pour with a small off-white head. Caramel malt and bread aroma. Taste is malty but has a roasted and slightly bitter element to it with flavors of caramel, nut, and bread standing out. Finishes with a lingering toasted bitterness.

Amber color with thin tan head.
Smells malty and bready.
Very malt forward wth just enough bitterness to offset it. Taste is similar to smell with a little bit of nuttiness to it.
I've become quite a fan of beers that do well with somewhat understated styles like an amber and this one hits the mark.

The beer is a darker caramel color, with some carbonation and a thin white head that laced my glass. The beer smells like sweet breads and nuts with caramel. You can also get a nice smell of the the hops. Roasted taste, still nutty and bready with a slight bitterness. The beer is medium bodied and an easy beer to drink but nothing really stands out.

The appearance had a glossy amber color with a one finger white foamy head in the pint glass and a two and a half finger white foamy head in the stange. Both had the same foamy stringy lacing after the head died. The aroma smelled the same in both glasses: light cooked fruity slightly caramel breadiness over top of a herbal grassiness. The taste followed the aroma, it was pretty much the same. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was okay for the style and for me. There’s a light toasty edge rolling over my mouth. Overall, decent altbier by an American brewer, but I'm pretty sure there's better ones on the market.

Pours a clear copper with a foamy khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Small chunks of sediment are seen suspended in the beer after the pour. Smell is of toasted malt, caramel, and nut aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, caramel, and nut flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable, but nothing really stands out about this one to me.

One of my fist tastes of San Diego beer culture. A good rendition of the Dusseldorf altbier style. Nice hoppy bitterness, thick fluffy head, orange/copper color. Pleasant sipper...
