Woman at the liquor store sold me on this and it was in an awesome 32oz jumbo can!

A - Deep orange color. Hazy from the dry hops with a bountiful white head and light lacing.

S - Pleasant and strong hop fragrance with citrus fruit, pine, and some dankness. Not really anything else discernible aside from the hops and a slight fruity ale-yeast character.

T - Great flavor with the strong citrus hop character predominant with some grassy, dank, and pine notes in the middle. The hop bitterness are also present but not in contention with the NW hops. There are also light malt and yeast character but mostly covered up by the hops. Really tastes a lot like a delicious IPA instead of a heavy imperial.

M - Medium mouth-feel with moderate carbonation. Pretty much only as heavy as most of the better IPAs.

Overall, a good DIPA. Even though I was con'd into buying this one for $8 I am not disappointed at all. If you like the strip your teeth bitterness and boozy character that comes with some DIPAs this isn't one for you but if you want an IPA with some more kick in the ABV and flavor department then this one is a good choice.

12 oz bottle was poured into a snifter at Frank n Steins in Orlando.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a slightly hazy pale orange color with great clarity of bubbles coming up through the glass. Nice lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Floral, grassy, citrus, candied orange, herbal, caramel, and bready malts.

Taste: Same as above with mild bitterness in the rear. Nice warm booze. Hops held up well and malts help balance things out.

Mouthfeel: Sipper, full bodied, bitterness, some booze, and medium carbonation.

Overall: Pretty nice DIPA. Got better with time and getting warmer.
