Pours a reddish colour, mostly amber. Head is off-white, fluffy, sparse bubbling with lights specks of lace. Looks alright, nothing special.
Big hops. Good caramel malt front with English toffee upfront, then massive hops of citric character come through, slight pull to it. Very pleasant.
Taste is quite malty upfront, that gets biscuity towards the end, with a slight Graham cracker character. Hops are very citric and west coast American, big and powerful but with a good sweet malt character throughout. Nice fresh IPA character. Sweet, hoppy, good tangy and malty balance.
Decent body. Nice fluidity, pretty smooth, not too dry.
Nice hoppy flavours and nice balance. For a double IPA it's extremely drinkable.
