Beer: Mission Brewer Pilsner
Serving Type: Bottle poured into a chalice
Appearance: pours a light golden with a two finger white head leaving light lacing down the glass.
Smell: straw, bready, toasted grain, light hop spices (Saaz hops), slight fruit.
Taste: pilsner malt, straw, light black pepper, nutty, slight noble hop bitterness. This is a very refreshing beer with good ballance of malty sweetness with suddle hop bitterness. The spices from the hops lingers a bit wich to me, is welcomed.
Mouthfeel: Heavy carbonation, watery, crisp and refreshing.
Overall: I really enjoyed this beer. I think without the Saaz dryhop, this beer would be very one dimentional. I enjoyed the spicy armoa of the hops with the grainy flavor of this refreshing brew.

Pale lemon yellow in the glass. Decent head and plenty of carbonation. Very light body with a lovely fragrance of hops.
Long nose of flowery hop cones followed by a bitter aftertaste. No exactly rich, but it fills the mouth with flavor. More resiny than typical of the style. Brewer says this is dry hopped with Saaz and Hallertau. Sharp and tangy. Not a bad light quaff. It gets more bitter as you sip.
Pleasant stuff on the lighter side of pale. On tap at the tasting room on skid row in San Diego.
