A- Thick and creamy head, clear golden colored beer with nice lancing. Looks like it has good carbination.

S- The hop smell is there, very subtle and sweet. Something kind of funky and off is also coming though. I find that to be the case with other brews from this company. I was hoping for more of a lime smell, but it isn't really there, probably mixed in with the hop smell.

T- The taste is very unique, with a crispness to it. There is a thick malt presence that is balanced very nicely with the hops. Then here comes the lime. The lime is sweet and intermingling with the taste, but as an after taste is is very much there. It is very refreshing taste.

M- Medium feel to the mouth. Its making me need to hock a bunch of flemmy loogies.

D- Easy to drink, and is going great with this super sunny weather.

A: Pours rich dark gold with sharp copper tinting. Head is off white and tightly bubbled. Great retention and an impressive coating of lace left around the glass.

S: A faint hint of pine hops in the nose with a general earthy undertone. I was expecting something a little more powerful with citrus and lime aromas coming out. Overall, a decent smelling IPA.

T: First taste impressions immediately seemed to more on the grainy and malty side with the hops taking a bit of a back seat. Subtle lime and citrus tastes do become more apparent as this warms up. Finishes off with a bitter bite which was nice.

M: Medium mouth feel with some bubbling carbonation.

D: I really was hoping to like this beer a little more but it was still a drinkable offering. I'll have to give it a try on tap as I suspect it will go over a little fresher and better.

pours a clear copper with a medium size white head that has a good staying power, and very good lacing.

smell is faint, grain, lime, earth, and hops.

taste is semi-thick, hops, bitter, touch of caramel, lime, and dandelion, ends bitter and tart.

overall i was surprised that it was as good as it was.

Had on tap, poured into a pint glass. Nice murky copper color, creamy white head with decent retention.

The nose is muted, though the lime notes come though along with the hops. The lime flavor comes through nicely on the first sip, and build somewhat from then on. It creates an interesting "mouth cleaning" feeling, kind of like a freshness on the tongue. Moderately hoppy, with little malt flavor. Good mouthfeel, not to watery, not to thick.

All in all a good beer, but it seems to be lacking something. I can't quite put my finger on it... However- easily drinkable, would be great for a BBQ or something summery like that!

Had this one on tap at the Brewery. Nice malty body brewed with an interesting lime leaf that comes through on the backend. I'm not a fan of IPA's and though this one is a little hoppy, it's not over hopped and the malt base coupled with the lime leaf finish is quite interesting. Overall a well balanced and interesting beer that's a nice variation on the style.

Overall, recommended... Especially good if you like the IPA style but want something crisp and different.
