This Northwest IPA is bold and balanced, with a rich malty flavor and a strong hop presence. We use premium 2-Row, Crystal, Munich and Victory malts to create the perfect base for showcasing Yakima-grown Columbus hops. After one sip you’ll agree, this is one hoppy bitch of a beer.

Appears deep orange with a good sized head.
Smells of toffee, sweet honey, and mild citrus.
Tastes of toffee. There is a bit of an odd grassy hop flavor but overall it is not hoppy. It has an odd citrus flavor and seems to taste a little cheap. There is really nothing about this beer.
It has a full-bodied mouth feel.
Overall not a very good IPA. I drank the beer but it is quite odd tasting and not a good example of an IPA.

Nice looking beer with a towering, fluffy head. Not as hoppy as the name would imply. Malt is more prevalent, nice dark golden body, malt on the aroma, very bready/biscuit. Taste is also predominantly malt, some slight hop bitterness at the tail end. Long dry finish.

22 oz. bottle:
Pours golden with a large white foamy head. Trailing lace sticks.
The smell is somewhat subdued, but pleasant - floral and citric.
The taste is floral/herbal with some general citrus. Big malt sweetness comes through to give it a caramelized sweet balance to the bitterness. Floral dryness in the finish. Slight alcohol shows despite being relatively modest for the style.
It has a smooth medium body.
Hop-forward, yet balanced. More herbal/floral than citric, though the citrus is there too. Firm malt backbone. A nice example of a standard Pacific Northwest American IPA.

Hoppy notes up front, which linger. Some citrus on the nose. More hops than flavor. Not highly recommended.

Very good appearance, that hot orange look with an inch of white head. And its all downhill from here. Aroma totally lacked hops, which is what a bitch would do in an ipa.
All bitterness in the taste. Boring. There's nothing else to speak of here, no other flavors, just a high carbonated high bitterness low flavor ipa. That's a bitch right there.
