Purchased at Harvey's Brewery Shop, coming in a 500ml brown bottle, BB date unreadable, served cool in a straight imperial pint glass.

A: light golden in colour with good clarity, a well-lasting off-white foamy head, and constant flows of moderate carbonation.
S: zesty-citric hoppiness and rather light but sweet maltiness (melted crystal sugar) typical of Harveys' ales comes with an assertive edge of sour yeastiness & starch plus a pinch of saltiness.
T: the foretaste is refreshingly citric-fruity, zesty and chewy, on top of an aromatic bedrock of (very) pale malts, followed by lingering mineral-ish bitterness and a pleasantly dry-ish/chewy palate. Clean in the finish, more like a Kölsch.
M&D: the carbonation comes moderate but not really soft, while the body and flavour are both light yet with a decent "gravity". This pleasant and easy-drinking Golden Bitter is quite balanced and shows the delicate hallmark of Harveys' yeastiness on both nose and palate. (976 characters)
