Pours a cloudy muddy amber with orange tinge. Head is creamy, beige, silky and dense. Specks of lace. Looks nice.
Piney, citric on the nose, bit rosey and floral as well. Slight cloying character, vanilla malt undertones. Not bad but could use more tang to freshen it up.
Taste is quite muddy, with big sweetness, rich and earthy then gets sharp citric twang with quite a big acidity to it. Bitterness is a bit flat and dull but nevertheless clumps on the back palate, without really balancing. Just a gritty earthy flavour at the back. Don't love it.
Sharp, gritty. Bit meh, but good body.
A bit cloying and unpleasant, could use more aroma hopping or something to brighten it up.
Serving type: on-tap
