If you're walking into New York New York from MGM or Excalibur via skywalk, you should have no trouble finding this place. Pour 24 sits next to the escalator which send you down to the casino floor. It sits "in the action" of the shops, and is a good place to peoplewatch if that's your thing, or check out the flashing lights of the casino below. Most of the seating in a rectangle around the bar, with a few seats off to the side.

24 beers on-tap, but unlike the name, 21 were pouring. Some macros are there, but at least there's some happiness found for the beer geek. There's Stone Ruination, DFH 60 Minute, Fat Tire, Moose Drool, Sin City Amber, and Leinenkugel's. There are bottles available too, but it's all mass produced stuff. The staff knew a few things about the beer they were serving, which honesty I wasn't expecting. Several types of glassware are offered with each beer they pour; I had my 60 Minute poured into a pokal.

One thing worth noting is that Pour 24 can be expensive. Even the BMC's on-tap were around $6.50 a pour. The craft stuff is priced at $7.25, which helped encourage a short stay by me.

Located on the level above the main casino in NYNY. Beer list was decent with some local beers. They did have Bourbon County on tap! Bartender was excellent. Price a touch high. The BCBS and the bartender made this an enjoyable stop.

Advertised as "THE" place to get craft in New York- New York...well the bar down on the first floor had a better selection to choose from including an Alaskan Hopthermia IPA I'd never heard of but enjoyed! If Pour 24 wants to bill itself as a "craft" bar, maybe they should invest in craft beers...wow, what a concept!!!! Green Flash on draft alone does not qualify!

Like many have said, it's a bar inside NyNy, open floor plan with the rest of the hotel and at the top of some escalators. Not a traditional bar by any means but a decent selection as others have stated. They had some amazingly fresh Green flash west coast IPA for us to enjoy. Made another trip back just to savor more. Their menu looks like they get stone, green flash, and some other crafts fairly regularly. If you are on the strip close to NY down to the Bellagio you should stop by. A cold, fresh green flash cures everything. Prost!

This place is conveniently located just off the walkway between the MGM Grand and NYNY. In fact, if you are in the MGM Grand sports book, Pour 24 is about a 2 minute stroll. They had a decent selection of craft beers, including Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA. At $10 a pint, however, it seemed a little overpriced. For Vegas, the selection was quite good.

Stayed at the Excalibur and found this withing walking distance at New York New York. Good service, nice atmosphere, a craft beer oasis (as someone else mentioned) in Vegas.
I had a "flight" of 4: Great Basin Sticker IPA (decent IPA, nice hops, well balanced), Dogfish Head 60 IPA, Widmer Rotator IPA, and Sin City Stout. They have a lot of decent craft beers on draft. This was a nice break from the usual draft Vegas offerings (Bud, Coors, Corona etc).

Pour 24 is a convenient spot on the strip where some good Craft beer can be found. It is a small bar located upstairs in the NYNY casino by the walkways to both the MGM, and Excaliber. This makes it a very convenient location and very easily accessible. The service is average, but do not expect the bartenders to be experts on the beers they serve. Being on the strip this bar does demand a premium for its beer. This is to be expected, and certainly hasn't stopped me as Im fine paying a few extra dollars for a good beer.

Las Vegas is a desert. A beer desert. A hop wasteland. Pour 24 is not the craft-beer lovers oasis this town needs, however it is among the few places to offer some small lifeline to those seeking flavor in their beer.

Atmosphere - pretty much none. You are in the middle of a mall overlooking a casino. Some good people-watching ops, but yeah, pretty much youre drinking beer in a mall food court. Still, its vegas, and its an acceptable option here.

Service - fine. They employ responsible adults here that arent spending most of their time on twitter. Not much beer knowledge, but again, it Vegas.

Selection. Pour 24. Im assuming they have 24 taps. Im not counting. Mostly innoffensive middle-of-the-road offerings. Blue moon, rolling rock, C.M.B. Some good breweries, Widmer, Alaska, Dogfish, but not much to write home about. Gem of the evening -- and im assuming someone lost their job for ordering it -- is the Deadlift Imperial IPA from Widmer. Deadlift is about 3 standard deviations above the average vegas 'craft' beer. Salvaged my evening for sure.

I went to this establishment tonight. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as the 24 taps available. Overall I was pretty disappointed with the selection. Most of the tap list was macro and semi macro "craft" crap. A good portion of Widmer, Redhook, and Shock top and the like, with a lot of macro taps of Bud, Molson, Landshark, and Heineken.

There were a good amount of locals which were pretty good. Sin City and Tenaya were on draft which were pretty good beers overall. The Octoberfest from Sin City was pretty mediocre but the Stout on Nitro was enjoyable. Pretty impressed with the Nut Brown from Tenaya on draft. Also had Alaskan Amber which was good and the Deadlift IPA which was really nice. The Deadlift IPA definitely had some of my favorite hops in it which helped in the overall opinion of the beer. Dogfish 60 minute, Moose Drool and Fat Tire were also on the tap list as far as craft.

They had a piss poor bottle list. Chimay Red was 15 for a 330 cl bottle which was pretty obscene. All other bottles were macros.

Overall I would say that this establishment is OK if you find yourself in the NY NY casino, but is far from being great.

As far as food, they have a deal going on with the pizzeria across the way which includes some sort of beer/pizza deal on the menu. Didn't try it out so I have no opinion on it.

The service is quite great though. I struck up a conversation with one of the bartenders and he knew his shit with the local beer scene; and recommended some stores and local pubs around where I am staying at the moment. Pretty solid for what it is in the casino overall.

Stopped by on a recent trip to Vegas. En route from the MGM on a walk up the strip, wanted to stop and quench my desert-parched mouth. I'm from the East Coast, so I was looking for some stuff that's not available in these parts. They had 24 taps going and a pretty decent bottle list, but most everything was easily accessible for me back home. I ended up having an Alaskan Amber, and another to go.

Yes, the "atmosphere" here is pretty lackluster - its similar to sitting at a food court at the mall. But, there's people watching to be had, and the backside has a nice view over part of the casino. Service was fine, and prices were a touch pricey - although, by no means outrageous (or even surprising) - about a buck more than I pay for craft drafts normally. If nothing else, its at least worth stopping by to get a to go cup of good beer en route to somewhere else.

I stopped at Pour 24 in the New York, New York Hotel on a mini-pub crawl on the Las Vegas Strip.

The place is a wide spot on the concourse and reminded me a little of an airport. There a lot of peripheral activities going on, like shops, eateries, people walking by and of course gaming. Seating for about 40. It does oerlook the casino floor which is cool.

Quality is just average. Kind of all over the board. Mostly regional micros. Widmer, Pyranid, Blue Moon. A real Northwest bent as opposed to California or the east coast.

Service was good. but the place was not busy.

Selection included 24 taps. There were a lot of average micros. No BMC.

Food: NA. Plenty of food places nearby. Like a mall food court.

Value is pricey. $7 for a Deadlift IPA. First I ever had on tap however.

Spotted some Stone tap handles and such while walking through NYNY en route to Mandalay Bay, and decided to stop on the return trip.

Atmosphere gets a brutally honest low mark from me - its just a bland walk-up bar, I can't sugar coat it. There are probably a dozen or so craft taps, but once you get past Sam and Fat Tire, you really don't get much. I first went with a $7 pint of Alaskan Amber - ouch! It is Vegas, after all. The beer was in good condition though, as I figure the limited selection of good craft beers in Vegas helps places like this turn over their kegs. Judging by other reviews, the beer selection itself probably doesn't change much outside of a seasonal or two.

The service was attentive, but nothing over the top. No real personable bar tenders, but they didn't let us go empty. A walker cup of Ruination (god bless Vegas), and I was content with my stop at Pour 24. Recommended as an oasis in a beer desert.

We went there Monday night to have some beers and food while watching the Pats/Jets game. The Pats delivered more than I expected, and Pour 24 delivered about what I expected (based on earlier reviews). I agree with the earlier reviews (especially DoubleJ's), so I'll just reiterate the main points:

The beers are more expensive than other Strip beer bars/brewpubs (Burger Bar @ Mandalay, Sin City), and they add up. The food (pizza from across the food court) was adequate but not impressive. I thought the draft selection was more expansive than the Burger Bar, but it seemed to appeal to the BMC crowd as well (unlike the Burger Bar). Service was attentive and friendly that night---I had gone there earlier in the day and was served by a bartender finishing up her shift who was marginally friendly and borderline brusque. There is no atmosphere to speak of, but they did have widescreens and had the game on. The only atmosphere that was there that night was a few Pats fans (including us) getting some satisfaction out of the Pats annhilating the big-mouth Jets.

Worth a stop (especially during Happy Hour, before 2 p.m.) to try a beer that's new-to-you, but not worth a lot of your time. If you're spending more time (and money), I'd head over to the Burger Bar.

I stopped by this place both of the nights that i was in Vegas on my last trip there. It seems like a great little spot to grab a beer to start or finish off the night.

Its basically out in the open, setup more like a kiosk than a dedicated bar space. There is plenty of seating both times i went.

The bartender was nice, I'm not quite sure of his knowledge about the beers, mostly because i didn't need any help especially with the selections they have here. The beers are pretty standard that you can pick up at any decent liquor store in the area, but they are good ones, Deschutes Black Butte, Stone, New Belgium, Big Sky...

I'm not gonna make it a point to stop here every time i visit, but If i'm ever in the NYNY and want a good beer, i know where i'll be stopping.

Bright open style bar overlooking the casino slots and tables on the floor below. Pour 24 is open, wait for it, 24 hours and has how many pours? Correct, 24!

We sat and people watched as the bar is located on the walkthrough type corridor to the strip and has some interesting places within eye shot. Houdini's magic shop didn't produce much fun for us, but the photo stall next door had us enthralled as tourists (like you and me in LV) had head shots taken and then given supermodel bodies or Elvis, Chipperfield, etc, etc. Strangely no one thin wanted a fat body added to their photo, but loads of large ladies wanted slimmer torso's in skimpy swimwear for their holiday snap. Even stranger was the crushed ice booth that gave huge containers (different shapes) of coloured ice with added alcohol to crowds of people passing through, or replenshing there empty vessels. Hoards of poeple seemed to be carrying these things about, strapped to their shoulders.

Anyway, back to the bar, $7.50 a pint (May 2010), I had three, the wife two: Stone Ruination, DogFishHead 60 Minute, Stone AB, for me, Sin City Amber and Anchor Steam for the good lady. Staff fine, restocking the bottles when we were sat with them, so not a lot of chatting between us, but they didn't let us go thirsty, or anyone else for that matter.

This is another of these weird LV bars that I'd have walked right past if it wasn't for BA and my pre-reading before our visit, glad I found it (not that it's hard to find).

1st off, get over that the beer is expensive. If you want anything good in Vegas you will have to pay for it!

2nd, its NY, NY. The place 20 years ago, but now way down scale. It's also right inside the door as you get off the elevated walkways for crossing the street so no atnmosphere even for a past its prime hotel/casino.

The wait staff was nice.

They did have Ruination IPA on tap. A real plus in this desert for quality brews!

So, the ony reason to stop is if you are on the strip and you need your craft brew fix in this dry, dry land...

I go to this place every time I go to las vegas. It's in kind of an interesting location, at the top of the New York, New York casino looking over the casino and across the street the MGM Grand.

Selection is 24 taps with a good mix of mid west and west coast selections (Firestone Walker, Big Sky, New Belgium, Anderson Valley). I think the first couple times I was there were better but it's not only good but worth making a special trip to.

No food there. Bartenders are ok. Same guys for years.

To be honest, this place isn't great. I'd say, as you'd probably guess by the scores I gave it, it's just above average. It's definitely the best beer spot in the New York, New York casino.

The atmosphere's not great. You're sitting looking at an annoyingly-lit bartop or down at the gaming floor.

The beers were good. The Shakespeare Stout was good, the Stone Arrogant Bastard and Ruination were both good (thought Ruination was a little tame - possibly old), and the Dogfish Head 90min was awesome. I had one of those each time I wandered past the bar (walking to other casinos, walking out to the floor, etc.).

The service was spotty: sometimes it was great, other times it was absolute garbage. I'd say 3.25 is the most accurate assessment I could give it but was understaffed so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

The selection wasn't as good as you'll see other places, but it was a good round selection of brews to satiate a beer-geek in a non-beer-centric environment.

I don't know what everyone else's prices typically look like, but these were a bit steep for my tastes. Of course, everything in on the strip in Vegas is going to be expensive so I wasn't expecting it to be any other way.

Bottom line: if you can, go to the Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay because the beer selection is vastly superior (not to mention the awesome food). If you need a quick good beer fix and you're in the area, Pour 24 will have to do. Luckily for you, it's not that bad and is somewhat capable of getting the job done.

Was just out in Las Vegas and checked up on here before I headed out. Ended up @ Pour 24 the night before New Years. Was not blown away by the selection, but it was better than most bars I came across in Vegas.

Open 24 hours, list consists of what others posted. Stones, Rogues, New Belgiums dominating the list. I had a Rogue Shakespeare that fell waaay flat. Not sure what happened there. Believe it was $7.50 per brew. Was not blown away, bar sits in a "walk / through" corodor of the NYNY casino which makes you feel like a hamster in a cage while the tourists float by. Worth a drive by brew.

A craft beer oasis in a desert of casinos.

There is little to complaint about for a decent place that offers good draft beer in the middle of the strip. Located in one of the indoor public passage areas of the "New York, New York" hotel and casino, the intent to offer 24 brews on tap is quite commendable.

Given the setting, the perception of the place typically hinges on the service. Of the two servers at the time of our visit one seemed decent if somewhat uninterested, while the one that took care of us during most of the session was knowleadeble, collaborative, and rather pleasing. He quickly spotted our interest in craft beers, and was very accomodating with small tastes of the brews, and suggested good brews according to the different profile of the customer, quite the professional actually.

The atmosphere is Vegas casino crowd so that is that, with very few of the patrons actually ordering craft brews, settling instead for cocktails, frozen drinks, or macros, of which they also held a good quantity to cover the demand. In that context we felt that those interested in the taps were very well taken care of. All brews were served in a generic, maybe not ideal but fairly appropriate, glassware in the form of tall conic shaped glasses, with good pouring protocol.

Sure enough the selection while good might not be mind blowing, but even though a couple of the kegs were done for the day, the offer was pretty decent, and it is a good stop for craft aficionados who can not scape the strip.

At the time:

Abita Purple Haze
Alaskan Amber
Adam's Apple Ale
Big Sky IPA
Big Sky Moose Drool
Newcastle Brown Ale
Firestone Pale Ale
Wailua Wheat
Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat
Primo Island Lager
Sin City Amber
Haywire Hefeweizen
Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA
Blue Moon Seasonal
Pyramid Hefeweizen
Deschutes Black Butte Porter
New Belgium 1554
New Belgium Fat Tire
New Belgium Mothership Wit
Sam Adams Seasonal
Rogue Dead Guy Ale
Rogue Shakespeare Stout
Stone Ruination
Stone Arrogant Bastard

There were also some perfunctory macro bottles and a cider on tap. Ah, and if anybody is into buying their souvenir plastic glass-bottle they sure can refill it with any selection to go. Likewise, while during our time they did not serve any food, patrons are very welcome to bring their own from any of the stablishments in that area of the casino. So there is no excuse not to have a bite if one need to do so with the beer.

As others have said, Pour 24 is in a shopping area overlooking the casino in New York New York.

The beer choice is good for a casino (apart from Burger Bar) but not that special. They have a habit of serving beer in plastic glasses which I certainly don't find to my taste (unless I was at a rock concert where I can understand it) and I requested my second drink in a proper glass, only for it to be poured into plastic.

We were going to order another drink, but the bar tender gruffly announced that his shift was finishing and we should settle up. Hardly made us feel welcome.

The Magic Shop opposite is better!

Visited Pour 24 recently on a weekend trip to Vegas with my girlfried and one of her friends. Definitely a decent place with a nice atmosphere but never really too many people around the bar. The bar is located basically in the hallway just inside the New York New York hotel building right next to Coyote Ugly and is overlooking the hotels casino. Nice tap selection at about 20 or so (can't remember exactly) with some big names and really good beers. Tried a Stone Ruination on tap and it was excellent. First time I had it and wish I could have it here. Also had a few other beers by Stone, Abita, Pyramid, and a couple locals. I took a couple flights in order to try as many beers (or all of them) that I hadn't had before. The bartender wasn't the most social person but still was helpful when I asked for a good place to buy beer in town and referred me to Lee's Discount Liquor about 5 miles down the street which had a great selection. Hotel is located right on the strip so it's a great place to stop if you are just wandering around as I was. Seemed to be the best place for good beer on the strip of all the places I visited. Would absolutely go back if I happen to make it back to Vegas at any time.

Thought the atmosphere was great, but the bar was relatively slow during our visit (7pm on a Friday). Went for the flight, choosing Big Daddy IPA, Black Butte, Adams Apple Ale, Big Sky IPA and Wailua Wheat...was not too impressed with the Adams Apple.

Unfortunately they do not serve any food...would have loved to stay and have a few more pints. Overall, a decent selection of beer for Vegas and would recommend to BA's with plans to visit the area.

Had a great bartender named Eddie. Bar is out in the open at the top of the escalator. This makes the atmosphere less than perfect. Wasn't terribly busy and talked with me about most of the beers, allowing me little samplers for free. I had 6 beers including the 4-6oz flyer pack. Too bad they didn't have food, would have been great to stay there and eat at the same time. Will be back the next time I'm in Vegas.

Eddie was a laid back Mexican with 70's swept back hair. Talked with a slow drawl and recommends the Arrogant Bastard.

It took a little bit of searching as it's fairly well hidden on the 2nd floor of New York New York right outside of Coyote Ugly and the closest exit is the walkway leading to Excalibur.

The service was average, and their gut instinct, as at most places on the strip, is to serve their beer in plastic cups, but they are perfectly willing to supply glasses if asked, though they appear to serve most items in a pilsner glass regardless of style.

The tap selection was impressive, especially for someone from the east coast (Deschutes, New Belgium, Alaskan Brewing, Firestone Walker, etc...), but nothing that I would consider extrraordinary.

Service was average to above average and the vibe was low key. The taps incased in ice is a nice touch as is the design of the bar itself. A wonderful place to unwind, enjoy a beer, and people watch.

The $7.50 per draft price is a little pricey, but then again it's Vegas, so it is partly expected.

The Arrogant Bastard was either bad or the tap was dirty.
DFH 60 min tasted on par.

and they still have Ruination.

The bartender Heather was great. One of the best bartenders I've run across in Vegas. Great service and personality.

The best thing about this place is that it's 24/7.

I don't think they have as many good beers on tap as before stated or reviewed though. I didn't see any Kona and I believe she said they took off some Rogue as well as the ESB from Alaska.

Hopefully they replace some of the average with more stand out selections.

This was my home base for much of my 2-day stay in Vegas. I won $500 on the penny slots with a $10 bill. Obviously it was a positive first experience with gambling. I've never had the desire to do it, but I was in Vegas so I thought I'd at least spend $10 and it sure as hell paid off. Anyway... so my big hit came at NYNY, so after I cashed out and offered to buy everybody around me a drink, we headed up the escalators to the Pour 24, which is not only one of the best beer places between NYNY and Mandalay Bay, where I was staying, but it was the only one I know of that was open 24 hours. What a disappointment the nightlife in Vegas turned out to be for me, but this place was decent enough.

This place has 24 different beers and is open 24 hours a day. You do the math. I mostly drank Stone Ruination, Arrogant Bastard, and Firestone Pale. They had a decent mix of light to dark and sweet to bitter, but I had to get my West Coast hops fix, since this was part of my West Coast trip. Pints were $7.50, which was kind of shitty, but I didn't have many other choices after midnight. Besides, it was in the only casino that I actually ended up winning at, so I felt inclined to give some back, even if the bar isn't actually affiliated in any way to NYNY aside from being located in the building.

I checked the forums before my trip to Vegas and saw this one on several lists so we checked it out. Interesting place. It tucked into a corner by the escalators with a great view into the casino. We had a couple beers while watching the action and "scenery". As we walked up to it, we weren't expecting much until we say the taps. Didn't see the bottle list but on tap that I remember were Firestone Pale Ale, Alaskan Amber, Black Butte, Fat Tire, Widmer, Shakespeare Stout and Arrogant Bastard. 2 of us are huge craft beer drinkers, 1 is really starting to get into good beer and the last one is just starting to get his feet wet. With the large selection, we were all able to find brews to hit the spot. Nice change of pace from most casino bars.

The quality was excellent. None of had an off beer out of the 10 or so in total that we had. The service was a bit disappointing. The bartender was overworked and running from patron to patron so his attitude was "what the hell do you want...and make it quick". Was going to ask about some of the ones I'd never tried before but decided I didn't want to deal with it.

High recommendation if you are close to it and looking for a good beer while crowd watching.

I would not have expected to find this place right out in the open. It was a little strange walking up to the bar and sitting down because everyone was walking up and getting their macro fix and walking away. I took the time to sit down and gaze at the...24...taps.

The bartender noticed I was staring at the taps and she gave me a beer list....wonderful! A great selection of taps...since I'm from the east coast...the bottle selection wasn't anything special. I was able to enjoy a flight...which you can make your own...and I had Firestone Pale Ale, Deschuttes Black Butte, New Belgium Fat Tire, Rogue Shakespeare Stout, and Stone Arrogant Bastard.

Although this place is out in the open...it's still a great place to enjoy a beer. You can sit back with a beer and people watch as Coyote Ugly is right down the hall.

With Pour 24 of NYNY, I believe context is the most important thing to keep in mind. Context, and trade offs.

For example, its a pretty cool looking bar, but it isn't so much a bar as an bar-like kiosk pushing high quality beer on your way to other things, but its very good for people watching if you do sit down. I'd find it expensive but for the worse, more expensive beers I've paid for elsewhere in this boozing mecca. They serve you beer in plastic cups (!!!), but that just means you get to enjoy your beer whilst walking about, taking in the Vegas strip.

The service is prompt, if standoffish, even with huge crowds I haven't had to wait too long for a beer. The selection is on the high side for Vegas, having seen offerings from Stone, Kona, Deschuttes, NB, Rogue, Firestone, Alaskan, among others.

When I was there with the bros, we put in a rule: get within a stones through of Pour 24, and we had to stop to get a beer. Staying at Mandalay, and being on the shortcut trail through NYNY up and down the trip, the rule was exercised frequently:)

Pour 24 is an interesting spot right above the casino floor in the New York New York casino. Good for people watching though there is an annoying magic shop across the way that are always showing the same magic trick over and over which drove me crazy. Selection is pretty decent for Las Vegas. Plenty of New Belgium, Stone, and few other big player craft brews nothing to unusual here. All beers are $7 which is kind of weird since I had a Stone Ruination for $7 then a New Begium Wit for $7 obviously the Stone was a better value. Bar tenders are attentive though not super friendly. Not a bad place to grab a beer or even a beer to carry around since you can get it to go.
