Busters is the reason I found out about so many craft beers. The staff is amazing and friendly. Although Buster's is a bit small and can be crowded it doesnt bother me too much.
I am eagerly awaiting the return of Buster's after their kitchen fire on June 21st 2013.
Many Saturday mornings I found myself sitting at the bar, at open, with some friends trying out new beers and eating fantastic brunch. Bartenders quickly became friends and made the experience all the more worthwhile.

The previous GM Paul was the main reason Buster's did so well. He knew your face after just a few visits and would always ensure the experience was up to snuff. I was saddened to see him leave.

Come back soon Busters.

Glad I came here! Was lucky to get a spot at the bar and the owner even brought me a stool! Little warm where I'm sitting right across from the griddle n friers, but the door is open and a nice breeze is wafting in. Air is good. Customers on my right are super friendly, ditto the bartender. The cooks are cranking the food out and to my eye, it looks faultless. And they sure are serving a lot of it! Got a tv on with the Olympics on behind the bar; small, good picture, and works for me. Lots of dark wood in the place including ceilings. Good selection of draft and bottled beers. Patio in front is busy but has some open tables. If I lived anywhere near here, I can see being a regular. Probably give it a better score too.

Stopped in for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. This little neighborhood bar is pretty small, but had a nice patio to go along with the inside seating. About a 15-20 solid choices on tap. Went with a Surly Mild while my counterpart had a Hopslam. The bartender was attentive and courteous and prices were par for the course. Not a destination bar by any means, but if your in the neighborhood, this would be a great choice for quality brews and burgers. Didn't have any food, but it looked mostly like burgers and fries, but I do know that they like to use craft beer in their cooking as well.

Incredibly packed that night. Louder than shit which is what the 'atmosphere' consisted of. Beer menu changes daily with menus that change with it - pretty handy. Pretty well varied selection with zero BMC. I didn't have any of the food but I tried my buddy's and it was pretty goddamn good: Onion Rings beer battered in Magic Hat #9, and hot 1554 mustard sauce for ze dipping. Tasty shat.

I think I ended up having a Three Philosophers, Surly Bender on cask and a Hop Stoopid (for $14... my fault though, I should've asked, everything else was well priced).

Buster's a a great neighborhood place, I just moved in nearby and bring all beer lover's who visit over there as an intro to the neighborhood. Really can't say enough about the place, extensive continually rotating tap list which probably numbers in the 20's, "99+" bottle selection, servers are familiar if not knowledgeable about the beers and importantly friendly. The food is fantastic, have tried almost all the sandwich/burgers with the Walleye Rachel being my favorite and the Buster's wings being a great way to kick things off. I have heard the pizza is fantastic I just haven't made it to that part of the menu yet. If you're in the area a stop here is a must!

Buster's On 28th is a small neighborhood bar. It is a pretty nice looking place with wood covering everything. However, it is extremely dimly lite, and the classic rock they play is awful. Their tap selection is among the best in the Twin Cities. They carry a nice mix of local, regional, and imported craft beers with a good mix of styles. The food is good, but nothing to write home about. The service is prompt, and the bartenders seem to know what they are serving. They serve all their beers in the proper glassware, but it is always far too cold. Overall, Buster's is a nice place to have a good beer, but I can't see myself going there all that often. The depressing lighting and bad music are enough to keep me away. If I'm in the area and want a good beer I'll choose Town Hall Tap over Buster's nine times out of ten.
