Pint in Cassidy's, Dublin:
Light amber, bright & clear with a 0.5cm foamy white head that leaves minor lacing on the sides.

Sweet & creamy, pale malt & hops with some earthy bitterness come through, citrus & caramel too. The hops weren't as strong as I'd have liked but it wasn't a weak beer at least.

Sweet with some hops but again they're not the strongest, some grassy flavours & citrus backed them up a little. Nice pale malts and caramel come through with a light bitterness & background fruits at the end.

Smooth with hints of bitterness, medium carbonation & some sweetness. An easy one to drink & the finish was a dry one.

Not bad at all, I was hoping it would have been a more hop-filled affair with some nice American style hops coming through but sadly it wasn't to be but it was still a nice one with the caramel keeping things interesting. It's not a stand out offering though.

From 07/27/14 notes...brought back from Dublin for me. Best by 28.03.15, 550ml bottle into a mason jar type glass.

a - Pours a somewhat clear bright orange yellow color with two inches of white head and moderate to high carbonation evident.

s - Smells of wheat, bready malts, grains, dough, and some herbal notes. Not bad but pretty bland and not a lot going on here.

t - Tastes of wheat, bready malts, grains, dough, earthy notes, and some sweet corn. Not very good, worse than the nose.

m - Light to medium body and low carbonation.

o - Overall not a very good beer...not skunked or anything, but not much going on in the nose or taste. A below average beer, wouldn't seek it out again.

Nitro-tap at Against The Grain, Dublin, Ireland

A: The beer is clear amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high creamy beige head that died down and left a large patch of bubbles on the surface, a collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of tea leaves are present in the smell.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has flavors of tea leaves along with notes of pale malts. The tea flavors linger through the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, smooth and a little creamy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a simple red ale that goes down very easily. I like how the taste of tea blended with the other malty flavors.

Light amber color, clean. One finger of foam, decent.
Very irish smell, good maltiness and biscuit, balanced by the hop, earthly and slightly citric.
Same for the taste, biscuit malt, grainy. Then hop. Well balanced.
Light body, good drinkability, and good aftertaste with tea and citric notes.
Pleasant.
