This is very much like all other Taco Macs out there. Nice large dining room with TVs all over the room and a large screen at each end of the main room. Bar is in the back left corner and the wall of taps. Food is as expected, good...but nothing really original or anything noteworthy. Service has always been good and I'm a regular there. The main room has booths along two walls and then tables in the center area. A sun room that has about a 30 - 50 person capacity. Overall one of the better taco mac locations I have gone to

Beer selection is always terrific and changes often. The food is just ok (my kids don't really like it so it limits my trips there lol). Had my first Chimay here, so this will always be a special place for me :)

Okay, if you're not familiar with Taco Mac, its a sports bar/family restaurant with a gajillion beers.

First of all, the beer selection is good and diverse. They have ~380 total beers with 100 of those being draught. The beer selection isnt all primo stuff because they have to tailor to the market and sadly, the market likes Bud Light. They do manage to bring in a few really nice specials every week to counterbalance that for the rest of us. The beer is always fresh, never stale.

The food is bar food + a smidge of quality but its still bar food. Nothing to write home about. Youll probably find me munching on the TMI wings, which can hold their own pretty well.

The service has always been fantastic. Amanda H was my server this time, her beer suggestions were spot on.

Taco Mac also has a spiffy little marketing tool called the Brewniversity. Basically, they give you a card and you get whichever unique beers you drink added to a list. At certain points, you get little perks. For instance, at 125, you get to drink from a 20oz mug every time you visit for the same price.

Overall, its a cool joint. If you expect PF Changs, dont go to Taco Mac. However, whether you are a seasoned beer connoisseur or a person who would like to start the journey to becoming one, Taco Mac is probably a good choice.

Taco Mac near Mall of GA. Visited about 5 times over past 3 years. Open 7 days a week and open late.

This is a sports bar for beer lovers, although macro-brew light beer of some sort seems surprisingly popular here. Numerous flat screen TVs and 3 large projection screens make this a good location for televised sports events.

The bottle selection is good for the area, but since most customers are drinkng macro-brews or drafts, I wonder about freshness of some of the less popular bottle offerings. Currently claim 200+ bottle selections. Due to ample and rotating taps - 100 draft beers if all taps are running! - I've never ordered a bottle here.

Good staff at both bar and tables. Good location for singles (bar), families and even moderately large groups.

Taco Mac serves above average bar food, although I don't think their 'famous' wings are one of their better offerings.

Overall, Taco Mac has reasonable prices, but their beer {$$$} is somewhat pricey. Frequent visitors who are members of the Taco Mac 'Club" can get 20oz fills on most drafts.

Ah, Bufordo Mac. All Taco Mac locations essentially boil down to: booths, bar, ONE THOUSAND televisions. Plus, this particular locale has a goodly-sized indoor/outdoor patio deal, if that's your thing, but being a BIG FAN of air conditioning, you'll usually find me hunkered down at the bar.

The food is pretty tasty, plentiful, and reasonably priced for bar grub. Typically, I go for their Turkey and Swiss Panini or Havana Cuban.

The service, as is true for any bar, ranges from adequate to proficient. This is another reason for sitting at the bar, as it expedites the bar-getting process, plus the bar staff is usually a bit more knowledgeable, beerwise, as they spend their shifts stationed right next to the taps and coolers. I find their draft prices to be wholly acceptable and cannot remember a single time I balked at the bill, though their prices on large-sized, imported bottled beer can be a bit high. Now, I'd wager their bread and butter is the sale of macros, the Budmilloors stuff, and in catering to that particular crowd they serve their beers in extremely frozen glasses, so be sure to ask the staff for a non-chilled glass.

The parking situation for this particular location is acceptable, as it's a stand alone building with it's own parking lot wrapped around the joint.

Overall, it doesn't display the grace, finesse, and the rich experience that a trip to the Brick Store Pub can provide, but, for those of us facing long drives to Decatur, a Taco Mac, with their many locations, will do in a pinch.

This particular unit also features a beer engine, though it's pretty hit-or-miss as to whether or not there's a cask beer actually on it. Sadly, I'm 0 for 5 when it comes to their beer engine, but some past beers I've missed include: North Coast Red Seal, Lagunitas IPA, and even Red Brick Oak-Aged Peachtree Pale Ale.

I've been coming here since it opened back quite a few years ago, maybe 4-5 years?

I joined the passport club that was just getting started within corporate stores and a year later had drank 325 beers. I'm now at 520+ and have started another list and have over 100.

Needless to say I love the place.

Plus - Great Staff, Great Beer Selection (100 taps), Great Regulars. Nice large bar, open air patio in nice weather.

Minus - not much parking but you can park @ the mall, managers tend to move around a bit so as soon as you get to know them they leave.

Visited this location on Thursday right around 5pm. The Taco Mac lot itself was full so I had to park in the mall's parking lot, yet still managed to squeeze in at the bar. It was pint night, and the glasses were gone by the time I left at six.

More of an "old style" Taco Mac with the wood-heavy interior, unlike the newer Metropolis and Kennesaw locations. Not really warm and cozy but it works ok for the sports bar concept.

One of the nicer Taco Macs as far as selection goes, my evening included Yuelingling (beer of the month), Aventinus and Avery 15. They have a beer engine installed and Storm King was on cask the night before. All the typical locals and most of the nicer beers that Taco Mac offers like McChouffe and Curieux. Probably 100 taps and 200 bottles, so its one of the bigger ones too. Everything was good and fresh, turnover is probably not an issue at all here.

Service was ok - average sums it up nicely. They were busy, but I didn't wait too long. The bartenders actually voluntarily worked together, and didn't just serve their customers, so that was a welcome change.

Prices are usually reasonable for Taco Mac in my eyes, though some of the pricier beers seem to get jacked up a bit more here. Overall a pleasant experience.

I frequent this location and the Suwanee location on a fairly regular basis, and the Buford store has a much larger selection of beers than Suwanee, by at least 50. Typical taco Mac atmosphere: beer bar meets sports bar meets family restaurant. lots of TVs, and they're very accomdating to requests. I've always had good service here, and I don't recall them ever being out of a beer I had ordered. Pretty decent food, as far as chains go. Food prices are pretty reasonable, but their beers seem to be a bit high for my tastes (average pint price is probably $4.75ish). A pretty dependable spot, and a an excellent place to chill while your significant other drops some coin in the mall.
