Located near the Clover Island Inn (walking distance) and the marina. Although we went late, this location is really nice, with bar, indoor and outdoor seating. Interior was kind of non-descript, there were a few TVs scattered around. When we walked in we were ignored by the hostess. She was occupied doing the kind of work you would do when you have no customers ( and there were plenty of customers). Everybody who came in was getting ignored. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was busy in conversation with someone else who worked there. Again ignored. Finally, he came over and served us, and was good from there on out. Beer was average, they do have food, but we did not eat. Gonna knock them for their service...

Great atmosphere for having a beer. Many TVs available for watching sports, but not over whelming where you couldn't enjoy a pint in solitude. Plenty of their own brewed beer is available and they have a great selection. Service is quick and friendly. Food is excellent with a choice of normal bar food and higher end cuisine. Recommend trying.

I stopped for lunch at the Ice Harbor pub on Clover Island while in Kennewick with my wife and son.

Atmosphere is a sort of plain building. It is fairly new, with a painted cement floor, open steel beam ceiling. A lot of glass provides a good view of the river and marina. Seating for 100 plus at a combination of high bar tables, and regular height tables as well.

Quality is good. I have had Ice Harbor brews before and they are good.

Service was questionable. It was not busy but they seemed short staffed anyway. I wasn't in a hurry, but I did want to order beer faster than the opportunities were provided.

Selection is pretty much Ice Harbor brews. 8 handles plus 2 seasonals and one guest tap. 15 regional wines were also on the menus.

Food was pretty pedestrian. Sandwiches and a few dinner type entres. I had the fish and chips. I think you can get better even at a fast food place.

Value was OK. Food is a bit pricey, $8 for a burger, $9 for a sandwich. The fish was $13.50. Beer goes for $4 to $4.25 a pint. $14 to $15 for a pitcher.

I'd go back for the beer, and to some extent the atmosphere and view. But I think the pub on the mainland is better.

I visited the pub with a beer buddy for beers and appetizers. The pub had a new bar feel with every thing in its place.

The staff consisted of a mix of new employees and staff from Ice Harbor's brew pub. We were served at the bar by the assistant manager and she was a pleasure to talk to and very informative regarding the menu, beers and plans for the establishment.

The bar had a "fish bowl" feel with floor to ceiling glass on three sides. The views were less than appealing and on a hot Tri-City summer day the glare may be unbearable.

The bar featured 12 taps with 10 serving Ice Harbor beers and the others rotating taps for regional brews (Snips Mountain was on tap while we were there). A cooler was available for carry outs of Ice Harbor beers and sales of growlers was encouraged.

The menu had the expected bar fair with reasonable prices and catchy descriptions. We were served a customized plate of cheesy fries sprinkled with bacon. Prices were reasonable and the food was adequate.

Had lunch here the day after Christmas. Ice Harbor has opened a new location on Clover Island, a man made island on the Kennewick side of the Columbia River that shelters a marina. The island is linked to the rest of the town by a causeway. Ice Harbor At The Marina is located on a portion of the groundfloor of the Port of Kennewick building, across the street from Cedar's and just before you come to the motel at the end of the road (and island).

The space is essentially a big dining room with a bar in the middle of one side of the room. There's lots of windows, and the walls feature reproductions of old photographs taken around the area. Compared to IH's brewpub, the atmosphere is a bit cold and sterile. As you enter, there's a cooler on your right where you can pick up six packs of their bottled beer. Oddly enough, there are also bottles of Bud Light in sixers. Not sure what that's about, but I didn't see any sign that there were macro bottles at the bar, so maybe that's where they store the swill for the people who absolutely will not branch out. You can also buy growlers and party pigs of what's on-tap, along with T-shirts and the usual brewery schwag.

At the bar, there are twelve taps, ten of which had IH beers on. There was also Snipes Mountain's porter featured as a guest tap. The twelfth tap was IH's homemade root beer. There were also about twenty bottled wine selections, all of which appeared to be local. Ice Harbor has always made a point of including regional wines at their brewpub, and they have expanded their selection here as part of their attempt to reach a more high income clientele. Sadly, there's no provision for cask beer, but it's still available at IH's nearby brewpub. I was rather surprised to find that there was no hard alcohol, as I'd expected to see that based on the clientele that the owners are obviously trying to cater to here.

I started with the IPA and ordered the patty melt with fries ($9). I then ordered a brown ale. The menu has more high-end entrees than the brewpub, and the prices reflect that. This same sandwich would probably have been a couple of dollars cheaper at the pub. The patty melt was mediocre, but the fries were a real letdown, as they seemed like what you'd get from the frozen section of a grocery store, with no attempt to liven them up with any form of seasoning besides salt. Perhaps they think someone who orders that type of food won't care about quality, and I really hope the guy that orders a steak or seafood entree for $15-20 isn't similarly disappointed. The pints of beer, on the other hand, were priced just like the pub.

The beers are served in un-chilled (thank you) 16 oz glasses that seem like a cross between a pilsener and a shaker style glass. The service was prompt and friendly, though I was sitting in the middle of the bar area at a time when only one other person was there (before I left, about three couples had come in for lunch).

The atmosphere is very different than the brewery's brewpub. This is probably a good bet for wanting to drink fresh, local beers while going to a sit-down meal with people looking for a nice restaurant. I think I prefer the more homey atmosphere and unpretentious food (and prices) at the pub (plus, on Tuesdays you can get cask beer there!)
