A: a slightly orange color. Hazy as it is unfiltered. Good retention but low level of lacing.
S: A bit of sweet malt. Belgian yeast profile is detectable. a bit peppery.
T: Like the aroma. Some peppery phenols but a bit more estery than I had predicted. I even get a bit of banana and some pear.Bitterness is a bit firmer than I would have expected as well at only 33 IBU's none the less though the balance is quiet good. Sweet malt comes through a bit more than I've had in some other saisons, its almost honey like but nothing to cloying by any means.
M: Fairly dry but some malt sweetness is also retained. Carbonation is a bit low for my liking bu its passable. Credit for not being bone, bone dry as even though that may be a part of the style to a degree I dislike it.
O: A good drinking beer. Not to pricey either and as an added bonus it has the advantage of being in a can (portability and whatnot.) Perhaps not exactly what i visualize a saison as and it might be a bit falling out of strict guidelines but overall I enjoyed. Nice paired with salmon burgers.
