Pale golden color, served in a can, so no knowledge of head or lacing. Smell is biting grain and medicinal hops. Flavor is primarily bitter hop notes, with some cracker and biscuit malts. Feel is brisk and sharp. A bit one note, but clean and quaffable.

Poured from 16 oz can. Tall head but not too creamy, and the ale is light amber. When you open the can, the initial aroma could be schlitz, but after pour a bit more complexity is evident. In terms of flavor, not surprisingly for a 4.2 beer the malt doesn't fully balance the hops. I cant tell you what variety of hops are in this one, but my impression is of bitterness not fully compensated by other flavors. Worth drinking, especially if you are looking for a low alcohol option, but not earth shattering.

Pours from a 16 fl oz can with a slight haze. Golden-orange color with a nice off-white to white 2-inch, heavily pocketed head that eventually settles in at 1/8 inch. The nose is sweet, malty, and floral. Very light body! I am surprised at the lightness. Bright and light with some nice hoppy and citrus bitterness. The lingering is mostly bitter but has hints of malt. Would like more of the latter. Nice Belgian lace. Possible summer drink. The price point will make me hesitate to pick it up again.

Tastes light, even for 4.2%. More bitter than aromatic, but really nice flavor overall. If this was available locally it would be in my fridge regularly.

Fantastic day drinker! I had this a couple of years ago while on vacation at Slerping Bear dunes (go there). I still think about this beer during the summer months. The look is not hugely appealing, but smell, taste, and feel are perfect on a hot summer day on the lake or at the campsite. I wish I could get this beer down south!

I had this beer from a can, but it was the second beer that meal after a hoppy IPA from another Michigan brewer. This one had a more balanced taste profile and I liked the low abv. I should have bought some cans and brought them home, but I didn't. Next time.
