Enjoyed at brewpub 07/30/10. Name has now been changed to Threesome stout. Was informed by employee at the bar that this was the same beer but "the name was, well...kinda stupid"
Deep brown edging on black but not quite there. Head, a malted milk color, was limited.
Named Threesome Stout for three of the ingredients used: Chocolate, Vanilla and Cinnamon. The Chocolate is evident in the nose, the vanilla and cinnamon and there too but possibly more noticed because of suggestion. A well rounded roasted malt addition fills out the nose.
Flavor resembles the nose to a bit fuller extent. The roasted malt typical of a stout in evident. Chocolate is strong while remaining balanced (certainly not just a chocolate stout). The vanilla comes into play in the creaminess presented but does not over power and become a strong flavor. The dry spiciness of the cinnamon hit towards the back of the palate rounding out the three flavors.
Medium bodied with a creamy texture. The body is in the mid range for a stout, though perfectly suited for this particular stout. Finish is just short of long as flavors linger just a bit on the tongue.
Tremendously drinkable and a very good beer. Definitely one I would go back for when I visit again. Great first impression of Right Brain

RBB pub glass.
Dark brown to light black with a wispy head and watery lace.
Smell is a slight cinnamon nose with a some vanilla mixed with some roasted malts.
Taste....I would not categorize this as a "Stout" this has much more "porter" qualities. Nice medium bodied raosty and toasty with a bit of cinnamon and vanilla.
Very smooth and pleasant. I would think about having another. Good hot day dark beer.

Served at Right Brain Brewery on 7-18-10
Poured from a tap into a standard pint glass
Dark brown/black in color, with a moderate head of off-white foam.
Aroma-Roasted coffee, vanilla and cinnamon notes
Taste-Coffee with cream, subtle hints of vanilla and cinnamon, with a rather dry finish
Overall, a nice, lighter-bodied stout-easy to drink and sessionable
