Had on tap at New World Tavern--Plymouth--served into a pint glass
Appearance: dark brown in color, minimal head, clear, moderate carbonation
Smell: lots of caramel, some leather and nut
Taste: follows the nose with some chocolaty notes
Mouthfeel: medium bodied, moderate-low carbonation, sweet start with a slightly bitter backbone.
Overall: This is an above average to good brown ale. What I love about this one is its complexity and multiple layers of flavor...instead of just the usual nuttiness I get with this style. I would get this again if I saw it on tap.

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Imperial Pint.
Appearance: Rich brown with thin, light tan head.
Smell: Caramel, cherry, nuts and a slight metallic cast.
Taste: Caramel and cherry, with some nice nuttiness that continues through the finish, along with light floral hops.
Feel: Relatively high carbonation over a fairly light body. Semi-dry finish.
Overall: Nice example of a sessionable Brown Ale.

Pours a very effervescent copper/brown with 2+ fingers of tan head. Above average head retention & lacing
S: Toastyness, a little bit of leafy hops
T: Toastyness, dryness, a little nuttiness up front. More toastyness, nuttiness & faint leafy hops as this warms, some brown bread sweetness as well. Finishes toasty, dry & fairly crisp
MF: Light/medium bodied, firm carbonation
Easy to drink, a pretty good brown

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a pretty dark amber color with a small head. Smell is light, a bit of nuts. Taste is nutty, malts, light hops, a bit unusual flavor. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, not terrible, but not something I would need to try again.

Picked up a 22oz. bomber of this at Bierkraft in Brooklyn, NY.
A: Brown with some bubbles. More on the translucent side.
S: Malty and touch of Hershey's chocolate syrup.
T: Vegetal, slightly malty, with a slight burnt malt finish.
M: Thin and lacking life.
D: Why would I want to drink anymore of this?
Overall, I do not recommend getting this beer to go let alone getting it at all.
