Pours an effervescent gold with 2 fingers of rocky pearl colored head. Murks up as the bottle is drained, good head retention & lacing
S: Bready, grassy,
T: Rich oakyness, a little butterscotch sweetness, grassyness, limes up front. Oakyness shines through as this warms, grapefruit & lime as well, just a touch of malty & butterry sweetness lurking underneath. Finishes with raw oakyness, with orange peel, a little dryness & a bit of honey malt, there's even a little sourwood honey here
MF: Medium body, moderate carbonation, great balance
A different kind of a IPA , drinks easy, tasty

On tap at the 2014 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest held at the Paso Robles Event Center in Paso Robles, CA.
Pours a murky dark orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is simple but tasty.
