it pours a nice cloudy brown with a creamy tan head. the head is somewhat impressive, but tends to fade away. It does leave a little lacing. smell is mainly of malt and maybe some carmel. taste is the same with a hint of alcohol. not a bad brew. i like the mouthfeel, nice and creamy. as far as drinkability goes, i'd have another if i'd bought two, but i'd rather have an aventinus. i am curious about this one's ABV.

Never heard of this one. Thought I would try it.

Pours a nice medium cloudy brown. Medium head. Seems to stay around. Carmel, yeast and malt in the nose. Citrus, malt, caramel and very sweet. The german beer tends to be a little sweeter but this one is a little too sweet for my tastes. Otherwise I have no complaints; a good beer. Mouthfeel ends up a little dry and astringent. Does not appear to be a very strong ABV.

This brew poured a large head of frothy light brown bubbles that was mostly diminishing. It had a cloudy softly carbonated light brown body and an aroma that was very hard for me to describe. It has a tingly alcohol mouthfeel and a spicey alcohol flavor. At one time I described it as some "Potent shit" but it does not make my favorites list.

When poured, this beer had a tan head with medium-large bubbles that quickly diminished. There was no lacing on the sides of my glass and the carbonation that was present was fizzy. The body was cloudy and the hue was brownish. I could not quite pinpoint the nose of this beer. The flavor was that of alcohol and the mouthfeel was light-medium and somewhat watery.

Muddy brownish peach in color (milk chocolate brown with the yeast pour), with a monumental off white head. It blew up even after a careful pour. At least 4 inches. Slow to settle.
Diverse nose of apple, grape, carmel, smoke, cola and orange.
I'd describe this as a "witbock". Sweet and tart apple out of the gate. Very sweet carmel, with hints of toastedness. Orange rind and a spiciness that approaches coriander. No banana or clove. Some faint smokiness in the background. Grape like in the finish, with lingering sweetness.
Medium bodied at best. Fairly thin without the yeast, but richer and smoother once it is added. Comparable to milk.
This is a different stab at a weissbock. I do it enjoy it.

Ruby hued w/ and hazy if the yeast sediment is poured. Thick fluffy off - white and persistent head. Sweet fruit, clove, orange zest, wheat tartness and a touch of mustiness in the aroma. A subdued hint of toasty Munich and a light butteriness becomes perceptible as the beer warms. Sweet, nutty malt, dark caramel w/ a pronounced wheat tartness in flavor. The assertive sweetness is partially tamed by light biscuit flavors and banana esters. Clove is seemingly absent. Fairly lightly bodied for style, while the mouthfeel is crisp and "light" Finishes very clean w/ residual sweetness and dark toffee notes. Clean all around flavorwise, and although a bit lacking in complexity and richness, St. Martini is still a flavorful and enjoyable Weizenbock.
