Really cool selection here, but the service and who you're shopping next to are really hit and miss, but never so bad that you shouldn't go. Location amd decent prices make this one a regular visit for me, and they usually have a couple of cool new locals and a whole shelf of Bruery stuff, can't beat that.

This place is in a sketchy part of the city with an occasionally sketchy crowd. Huge warehouse with lots of great distro beers and lots of locals that I was looking for. Will always stop in to see what is available.

This is probably the largest and is the most centrally located Randall's, but only middle of the road for me. Selection is huge although from a quality side watch out; there is a good amount of overage beer here and they only occasionally catch it and mark it down. My other issue with their selection is the VIP membership for limited release. They hold a lot of beer back for VIP only to put it on the floor weeks later with no communication if you were on the VIP wait list. Always ask for what you want, but don't be surprised if you get a dirty look.
The vibe of the store is a little odd. It is in an old warehouse so there is a ton of space and selection across all types of alcohol. It is also located near downtown, so the selection and crowd in the store gets a little rough at times, but their security and customer service helping people is always good.
Overall, I shop here regularly and still hold out hope that one day the VIP card will actually get me contacted for something limited.

Decent selection of beer although the vast majority of the store is wine and liquor. They keep their limited allocations off the shelves and only sell them to regular customers. Staff never leaves the registers but they are friendly enough when you are ready to check out.

Don't be fooled by the outside; this place is the real deal. It's a warehouse full of liquor, wine, and beer. They have a great selection and the people are always really helpful if you're trying to find something or looking for a recommendation. Also, since it's warehouse-style, the prices are better than almost everywhere else!

My favorite place to get beer, just wish it was closer. The best way to describe it is the Sam's of liquor stores. In a warehouse right off of the highway in south stl, huge wine, beer and liquor sections. I've also bought disposable flasks here as well.

Set up in a large warehouse style building. Open, with concrete floors, etc. Kind of like a miniature costco of booze. Beer aisle is down and to the right. Solid selection of stuff from the StL area in addition to a couple of shelves worth of imports and then a fair amount of domestic craft. Store employees I interacted with were friendly. In the ~45 minutes I was there I was asked twice if I needed help finding anything and was almost offered a job (tongue in cheek) a third time. Haven't been to any other liquor stores in the area, so I can't comment on comparative prices, but pretty similar to what I saw at the grocery store.
Solid, but nothing spectacular. As much as I dislike bombers (for all the reasons people have mentioned on this site and elsewhere), the fact that there are so many tantalizing brews that are only available in bomber format left me wishing they had a slightly larger availability off 220z bottles. Not bad, just not overly extensive. Also something I missed from where I used to live was the option for mix/match six packs

Was excited to stop in here after reading some online reviews and checking out their huge online selection. I went to their online store and placed an order for the specific store listed , they showed this store having a lot of great beer in stock that they did not have at other locations. Well I show up and low and behold not one of the beers I ordered was there , I ask and they check stock on the computer and it shows zero. I ask them about the online store showing them having it and I drove to their store for that and the guy back at the desk behind the beer section shrugs his shoulders and says , " yeah that's the way the online stuff goes" Why even have an online section if you are not going to at least try and keep it up to date. One of the beers has been showing in stock at this store location for 2 weeks and they said they had not had it in stock for 2 months. A little pissed off to say the least since I drove out of my way to go to this place , oh well lesson learned , if you see a beer here online you want from this store you better call ahead and ask if they have it. I will not be stopping here ever again

My go-to place in StL.
They have a great VIP program and a Waiting List that gives you a chance to grab rare and limited release beers.
Overall good everyday selection.
Convenient location for me which is why I like it.
Prices are on par with other stores in the area.

I've visited Randall's on numerous occasions, and am never let down.
The inside of the store has a warehouse look to it (complete w/ the concrete floor). Hang a right after walking through the door, and head back until the large, U-shaped beer section catches your eye.
From the right side of the U are limited release singles, Belgians, Germans, Russian/Mexican/Japanese/Chinese/, UK, then the complete left side of the U being domestic craft brews.
On my visit, I was pleased to find several Rasputin IV, which I only found at one other place in town that weekend. You're certain to find at least a couple brews that will surprise you. One hint-- keep your eyes up above the top shelf. That's where Randall's keeps their stock overflow, and you'll sometimes find items up there when the shelf below has been picked over.
My only complaint--the staff can be non-existent or simply uncooperative. If you know what you're looking for, though, this is a place to check out.

While stopping by this liquor store a total of 4 times now, I come here BC it is right off highway 44 and is easy to get to on the way to friend's houses downtown. I do only come here if I know for a fact what I am getting.
Upon walking in the store, there are multiple no weapons allowed signs everywhere. This isn't the first think I want to be thinking about.. Violence in a store. No worries about this, but then you have to deal with the walk all the way across the warehouse to get to the beer and watch out for weirdos. Okay, maybe this isn't a place I like coming into... Post review, I may never come back here.
I do appreciate that all of the beer is non-fridged (so you can cellar anything worth it.

If you are looking for a hard to find product whether it be wine, liqour, or beer, Randall's is the place to go. They are stocked to the ceiling with products and offer great prices. Wine and liquor are extremely cheap while beer is only a little below average. I sometimes go without any idea of what I want to buy. You can wander the isles for a while and you will easily find many terrific choices. They often times have samples of wine which is nice. With many cash registers, lines never get too long which allows you to quickly get home and put your booze in the fridge. Don't bring your children because you must be 21 years of age to enter.

Randalls at the intersection of I-44 and Jefferson used to be my home bottle shop as I lived right down the road.
The warehouse that Randalls is housed in is very large and spacious. The aisles are very wide and the store is quite spacious. 90% of the store is Liquor and Wine but the remaining 10% that is beer is a great selection at that. Beer is fairly priced but more expensive that Wine and Cheese Place. Service has also been very friendly and fairly knowledgeable.
My two gripes about Randalls
1) None of the six packs are broken down and there is no mix and match option. I have seen several beers I would love to pick up but just dont want all six.
2) No coolers inside so no beer is cold and ready. Many of times I am heading out to a BBQ and want to pick something up on the way which leaves Randall's out of the equation being nothing is cold.

Randall’s is just off of Jefferson and I-44, part of the same building that houses Johnnie Brock’s Dungeon. Most aisles in the store are really wide and shelves go way up to the high warehouse ceiling. Most are also booze and wine, but the beer section is a nice size and has a good selection. My only gripes are that many of the smaller bottles are not broken down- I buy a lot more bottles when I don’t have to get six-packs just to try something new- and that the inventory didn’t completely match what the website said. One thing I came in for that was supposedly in stock was gone when I was there. The staff is cool. The shelves aren’t as organized as I like, or just organized in a weird way, but that makes for some fun browsing. Picked up some great stuff, like Odell Woodcut 3 and 4, some RJ Rockers for a SC tick, and various other bottles. I come here quite a bit. Prices are higher than TWCP but in line with most of the area, and lower than Friar Tuck.

This place is acceptable, in a pinch. They have an extensive selection of craft beers, and most of the standard releases are priced reasonably. It's just a warehouse looking place on the inside. Beware, however, that there have been a number of reports that the price of a beer marked on the shelf can often ring up differently at the register, so make sure to check your receipt before walking out the door. This place also has the reputation of marking up limited release selections significantly, over other area retailers. As far as customer service, you're not going to find anyone AT ALL in the store who has any idea about any of the beer in the store. So don't even bother asking anyone about anything. There is no help walking the aisles. Only the people at the cash register to ring you up... who may or may not argue with you about a refund if you point out a mistake on the receipt.

I visited Randall's for the first time about a week ago.I had been on the phone with them numerous times trying to narrow down my shopping list.I originally called them looking for '09 Nemesis and was ecstatic when they told me they had multiple 4 packs available.Charmane(not sure if spelling is correct)helped me out and was very knowledgeable.I purchased the Nemesis 4 pack($25.00),a Trappistes Rochefort 10 and a bomber each of Maharaja and Hog Heaven. The selection was good and service was sufficient. They carry all the usual suspects(Avery,Bells,New Holland,North Coast,Great Divide,Founders)but they also had an excellent selection of German and Belgian beers, including Achel(which is new to this market)and Lindeman's Faro.My only regret was that I didn't visit there before they had sold out of NH Dragon's Milk.Overall,an excellent resource for great beer.

I stopped by Randall's after hitting up the Buffalo Brewing Company, so I was a little buzzed and excited to stop in this huge hall of alcohol.
Immediately upfront there are tons of wines and hard liquors, but I eventually found the beer at the other end of the warehouse. The beer selection was huge but I didn't stick around too long to see what all they had. I definitely need to revisit!
The service was basically limited to the folks working the cash registers. There was a huge amount of customers, so there was little personal interaction. I didn't see anybody advising customers of their beers.
I bought a sixer of Old Foghorn, and it seemed to be reasonably priced, but I didn't really look at the other beer prices to compare and contrast.
Overall this is a huge place, and I wish I spent more than five minutes there. I would recommend at least a half an hour for the first time visitor to see what all beers they have to offer.

Came here after lunch at Mattingly's.
This is right of I-44 at Jefferson and is visible from the highway.
The selection was good size. All your major St. Louis options were represented. Schlafly, Founders, Avery, Sierra Nevada, Odell, Lagunitas, Anchor and a good selection of German and Belgian selections.
The service was good but not overbearing. I had one worker ask me if I needed help.
Overall, this is a nice place if you are in the area. I think the selection was still smaller than Friar Tuck and Lukas but still a good store.

Keep in mind that my ratings are based on other stores in St. Louis
Q - this place offers quite a bit of different micros, pretty much all that is available in St Louis (Schlafly, O-Fallon, Founders, Bells, New Holland, Arcadia, Odells, Great Divide, Avery, Goose Island just to name a few).
Service - as this place is reminiscent of giant warehouse, it feels like one can get isolated from others easily. I never really needed any service, but I was glad the guy ringing me up knew his Bells (I was buying their Rye Stout). I usually don't get that when I am buying my beer.
Selection - as mentioned under the quality, this place has a lot to offer. It seems like this place has more overall quantity than The Wine and Cheese Place, however TWCP trumps it in its variety. However, this place still has pretty much anything you want, just as long as it is distributed in MO.
Prices weren't high, nor were they low. I paid what I expected to pay and wasn't disappointed.
I would rank this just behind TWCP as far as selection goes, however I found it easier to locate stuff at Randall's. If you are downtown, this is closer than TWCP; if you are west of downtown, hit up TWCP. If you go to either, you will not be disappointed.
