Pours cloudy yellow. White head, two fingers.

Nose is citrus, coriander, crisp, classic. Taste is citrus zest, coriander, but creamy, almost buttery for the style.

Light in body, zippy but smooth carbonation. Nothing out of the realm of expectation, but well executed on all fronts.

Very smooth, delicious example.

Cole's Italian tasting. A hazy whie witte colour that has a little head and then is laceu. Pleasant aroma and average mouthfeel. The taste is most refreshing grapefruit, perhaps a bit of orange from the orange peel. The Saaz works, he carbonation is right there. The malting works. It is slightly yeasty.

Presentation: Comes in a really cool 750ml blue glass bottle. Poured into a tulip glass.

A: A pale golden yellow with a three finger thick off-white head. Tons of carbonation coming off of the nucleation point in the glass. Not nearly as cloudy as I would have expected for a witbier.

S: Sweet malts provide a nice backbone to overtones of lemongrass, hints of orange peel, and pleasant undertones of coriander. I also get some musty yeast aromas coming through which provide the nice witbier-like aroma that should be here.

T: Pale malts with hints of caramel flavors are right in the background supporting sweet honey notes along with subtle undertones of coriander spices and a slight hint of orange peel, though it is hard to detect. Some grassy hops are here but nothing too overpowering, they seem to play a minor bittering role but more of a balancing role in my opinion.

M: Fairly heavily carbonated but fits the style well in my opinion. Its a tad dry in the finish and medium-light bodied overall.

D: Quite refreshing and fairly drinkable. I would have no problem drinking this all night and it was readily available.

Notes: I got this on sale at my local beer store for $4.99 so it was a great deal and I would definitely buy this one again at that price. I'm sure it wasn't the freshest when I bought it but if it was I'm sure it would only be even better.

Light yellow color, slightly opalescent. Quite scarce foam.
At the smell tangerine, spicy notes, pepper. Very fresh. Talc.
Interesting, even if a personal interpretaion of a witbier.
Well balanced.
At the taste again citrus fruit, tangerine over all. Fresh and pleasant.
Definitely very drinkable.
Light body.
A bit of delicate pepper in the aftertaste.
Well balanced and pleasant.

Ale brewed with spices, orange peel and corriander seeds. Small bottle geysered for at least half the bottle; finally poured a cloudy sentiment filled light amber with light white head.

Beautiful perfumed floral, spiced, orange and fresh peach assertive nose.

Mouthfeel is creamy and seemingly rich but with no character.

Flavors are of bitter spices, green peppers and "green/ivy" hops. Finish is a simple green pepper lightly bitter and medium in length. Grows on you a bit the more you drink.

Likely a decent drink with some fish and lighter dishes. I think food may give this one a big assist.

From notes. Originally had at a 3/6 DC tasting.

a - Pours a murky pale golden color, with a very small amount of white head and little carbonation. Sediment is evident.

s - Had a bland citrus smell. Not getting any of the fresh fruit smell it seems others got. Not very good smell.

t - Taste is a pale citrus taste. Also small hint of spices. Not a big fan.

m - Light body with high carbonation that stings the tongue.

d - Overall I was not a big fan of this beer. I thought the smell and taste was citrus, with a small amount of spice, but neither was very strong. I also thought the carbonation was very high and hurt the beer. Would not try again.
