Our juiciest beer features ripe mango and tropical hop aroma on the nose followed by a mild bitterness from the Citra and Falconer's Flight hops and some alcohol warmth to balance out the sweetness of the fresh mango.

Undated can at a baseball game, so I can't comment on the appearance. (I'll give it a 4.) Initial impression is definitely mango, with some grapefruit, and a bit of pine bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish is slightly sticky and slightly bitter, but otherwise in keeping with the general mango thing going on. Quite enjoyable. My favorite Spring House beer thus far.

Cotton candy. Pop the can and the foam oozes out with this amazing aroma and taste of yes, cotton candy. Followed by lots of sweet, fresh mango, smooth mouthfeel, not very bitter which actually fits perfectly with the flavor profile. Really one of the most unique beers I've had. Grabbed one on a whim to follow an Lawsons Sip of Sunshine and I'm sure I will soon finish the stock at this great bar, with decent single prices. That would be Good Dog in Chalfont PA, on my way to Philly. Yes, cotton candy mixed with mango, who would've thought. Hadn't seen or heard anything from this brewery in years, I do remember Planet Bean being an tasty coffee stout. Have to check their website later ...

Poured into narrow pint glass: color is hazy gold, head is brighter white with fine bubbles, presents at least 1/2 inch thick and then dissipates to a 1/4 inch top with some lacing on the glass sides.

Smell is mango fruit, lighter tropical hops, light pale malt.

Taste is similar with mango fruit forward, tropical hops, toasted malt, good earthy dry bitterness.

Mouthfeel is crisp, moderately carbonated, good dryness to balance mango sweetness.

Overall a good hoppy, dry fruit ipa - mango is not overdone and seems to provide some balancing sweetness.

L: Clear gold with foamy white head. A sticky film remains, leaving lots of spotty lacing behind.

S: Ripe mango, but instead of being super juicy sweet, there's a black tea like leafy, herbal bitterness to it, along with a brisk minerality. It smells like mango iced tea, like Snapple. A bit of pineapple and lemon notes, too. But yeah. Mango Snapple. That's what it smells like.

T: The taste follows the nose precisely. Ripe mango, artificial candied mango sweetness. Crisp, clean, cracker malt. Hints of pineapple, orange, and lemon. Black tea herbaceousness and bitterness. Finishes crisp and clean, lightly dry, with a lingering herbal tea bitterness.

F: Crisp, clean, lightly dry with a medium-plus carbonation. Drinks more like a pilsner than an IPA. A little thin overall, though.

O: This beer is weird, but fun. I dig it. It's like a carbonated alcoholic Snapple tea. I enjoy it.

-canned 11.09.16 to spiegelau ipa glass 07.09.17. brewed with mango.

A: Pale orange has a generally good clarity and steady stream of bubbly micro-effervesce rising in straight lines, like oil beads on a string. A huge soapy capping is bone white, and provides a generous coverage of lace in the form of long eye lashes on the glass.

S: Mangoes come through nicely mixing with some grapefruit juice. Wet and tart, some melon-cantaloup breakfast fruitiness with a light to medium sense. Short lasting duration.

T: Flavor was toasty citrus and grapefruit peel. Dry grains, almost powerdry dust, coats the tongue with toasted bread with a medium intensity of dry citrus hops. Things up with some wet and juicy lemony zing, mangoes, and some dry lemon finish along with powdery malt and grains.

M: Lively carbonation, soft and creamy malt body, bittering with some alkaline and flowery coating on the tongue.

O: A decent ipa, nothing out of the ordinary, but still warrants a good rating with respectable hop dimension and toasted dry malt body.
