Served on tap in a snifter glass
Appearance – Served a deep black brew with a two finger cream colored head. The head faded over a moderate level of time to leave a fantastic level of lacing.
Smell- The smell is huge of chocolate and sweet peanut butter. It is like a peanut butter buckeye ball. Delicious.
Taste- The taste is much drier then the nose would suggest. It starts out of rather roasted and malty with a little bit of chocolate. As the flavor advances some flavors of a creamy peanut butter begin working their way into the taste. The peanut better and chocolate grow more intense as the taste moves on, with some of the roasted malt flavors dwindling a bit. Overall this creates a lighter dry peanut and cocoa flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is average in terms of creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. A bit of a thicker body as well as a lower carbonation level would have better accentuated the darker and peanut better flavors of the beer.
Overall – An interesting brew. Super sweet smelling, but much drier and roastier then expected from the nose. The only thing holding the brew back was the rather weak mouthfeel. Otherwise it is fantastic. Regardless it is one you should try if you get the chance.

Bottle shared by Curran at his tasting.
Pours a very dark black, with a mocha tan colored head, about one inch, with a lot of lacing in the glass.
Smells like rich, not too sweet peanut butter, dark bitter chocolate, and roasted malt.
This blows Sweet Baby Jesus out of the water. Thick, nutty, rich peanut butter character, with some intense roasted bitterness- roasty nuts and roasty malts. Huge chocolate character as well. At times really has the feeling of drinking liquefied alcoholic peanut butter. This is a good thing!
Thick bodied, rich, smooth, creamy mouthfeel. This one has a pretty low level of carbonation. Very drinkable, ran through 5 oz or so really quick.
This one is great, probably the best peanut butter based beer I've ever had.
