Missed this one the first time it was on-tap locally so second time around I had to jump on it.
A - Pours as dark as they come with a 1 finger mocha head that dissipates quickly.
S - Roasted peanuts, light chocolate, and some light burnt smell.
T - The peanut butter is up front and pretty hard hitting but then I got a burnt flavor that wasn't very pleasing.
M - The beer was really smooth, heavy bodied. The carbonation was pretty light.
O - I really like everything I have from Spring House but this is one I'll probably forgo in the future.

Had on tap at Paradise by the Slice. Thanks to Shane for this one!
A: Big Gruesome is deep black with a small tan color head, decent retention leaving a small cap on top. Thin lacing forms on the sides.
S: Just like Reese's Pieces, some peanut butter and chocolate, a bit of cream and sweetness. Very nice, just like candy.
T: More peanut butter and chocolate on the flavor profile. Not as specific as the aroma where it instantly reminded me of Reese's. Mostly milk chocolate, a little but of cream, and a faint roastiness.
M: Medium bodied, maybe a touch thin. Very smooth and creamy.
O: Very happy to have finally tried this beer. Definitely a sweet beer, and a treat. not something I would drink all the time, but would be happy to have it again. Perfect dessert beer.

I poured this from a bomber into a Dogfish Head Signature glass.
A: The beer pours an oily black with a nice, one inch tan head. It's a pretty stout for sure.
S: Definitely big notes of peanut butter in the nose. Not so much chocolate, but hey.
T: Big notes of peanut butter with a solid backbone on this brew. I get some chocolate, but peanut definitely dominates this beer. This beer finishes relatively dry.
M: The mouthfeel is pretty smooth as a stout like this should be. Dig it.
O: Overall, I like this beer a good bit. This is definitely comparable to Sweet Baby Jesus and is very tasty. Cheers!
