On tap at Barcade in Philadelphia. Served in a snifter.
Appearance: Jet black with a thin layer of peanut butter colored head on top. Good retention and lacing on the glass.
Smell: Smells like a peanut butter sandwich mixed with smores just off of the fire. Really nice.
Taste: Big notes of peanut butter and coffee, intermixed and alternating with vanilla bean, chocolate, and cocoa. Maybe some raisin, molasses, and toffee.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and hides the alcohol well.
Overall: Wow. A very unique and delicious stout. The flavors mix well together and complement each other without getting overpowered. Would definitely try again.

Interesting brew...black in color with a thick dark brown head. The smell is intense, chocolate, malt, highly roasted grain, and an espresso-like scent. The peanut butter is definitely present....it comes out after the first sips, mainly in the aroma. It adds to the richness of the stout. The taste is drier than expected...not at all oily. Slight bitterness in the aftertaste and a very creamy body. Nice.
