Inky, dark blacked out pour with a thin topping of tanned head. Slight retention with a few spotty notes of lacing left behind.
Cocoa powder, dark chocolate, molasses, roasted peanuts and dark malts in the nose. Definitely sweet and a touch warm, but still relatively in check.
Softly sweet cocoa and chocolate up front, followed by a creamy, buttery peanutty goodness. Touches of molasses and caramel with nutty tones and a thick, burly malt backbone. Roasted dark malts, decent sweetness in the profile and a warm finish.
Fuller body, decent carbonation, sticky and chewy on the tongue. Chocolate and peanut butter to the face! I was pretty excited for this one and ended up leaving with a couple bottles after we were done.

Interesting brew...black in color with a thick dark brown head. The smell is intense, chocolate, malt, highly roasted grain, and an espresso-like scent. The peanut butter is definitely present....it comes out after the first sips, mainly in the aroma. It adds to the richness of the stout. The taste is drier than expected...not at all oily. Slight bitterness in the aftertaste and a very creamy body. Nice.
