Lil' G is not intimidated by his larger counter-part, Big Gruesome. An extremely rich and complex beer, the addition of raspberries during the fermentation process results in an reddish opaque color with nice chocolate notes. Like the Big G, rich peanut butter is introduced throughout the entire brewing process to make this stout even more Gruesome.

16 oz can
Pours opaque black, tan head dissipates to a ring.
Aroma is of fresh peanuts, berries, toast, caramel and coffee.
Flavor is of raspberry jam, fresh roasted peanuts, peanut butter, toast and coffee beans.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
Very peanut forward. The peanut flavor is pleasant. It's countered by the jam flavors, but they don't really blend, just sit next to each other. Drinks pretty easy. Tastes pretty good overall and worth a try.

I had this on tap served in a pint glass
the color is dark brown with light beige head. The smell is mild with nutty roast aroma. The feel is good nice balance of sweet maltiness with mostly dry finish.
This is a good beer generally speaking, but I was expecting more of a sweet fruit taste to bring to mind the jelly part which I did get slightlly but I would say it is not as peanutty as Big. I don't think I would go out of my to try this again but it is not bad

The nose has a great Smucker's grape jam in the front with some solid peanut in the back. The body is really good with a sweet jam forward flavor followed by some breadiness and peanut butter. This is PB & J done right as a beer.

Rich & deep peanut butter stout, with a few light & fruity notes. Looks & smells amazing. A little thinner on the mouth than I would like, but a stellar overall beer.
