A- dark brown, nearly black body, one finger brown head with minimal retention, some lacing.
S- Fairly odd but distinct fruit sweetness, nuttiness, a bit of chocolate malt. Though there is still something off about the nuttiness, as if it's stale, oxidized peanut butter rather than the crisp smell of a freshly opened peanut butter jar. It's not bad, but certainly not very promising.
F- Not good. It's somewhat difficult to describe. The nuttiness is here, but like in the nose, there is clearly something wrong with it; likely it has gotten very stale. There is some sort of rotten fruit sweetness that clashes with the stale nuttiness. The only thing left is some milk chocolate and coffee from the base malt, but it's all still very muddled by the other adjuncts. It's not a very enjoyable flavour profile at all.
M- Thinner bodied, OK carbonation, but simply just not a beer I want to ever drink again.
O- It's been in the fridge the entire time, but I have a feeling that this beer was still not going to be particularly drinkable fresh. The flavours clash completely and absolutely fall apart when it gets warmer.

Dark thick ale with a rich, well balanced flavor and aromatic profile.
Creamy smooth. Peanut butter lends more of an enticing very nutty note than just one that's specifically pb. Subtle contribution of (grape?) jelly.
Fine, rich, nut bread aftertaste.

Pours a very dark purple, with sapphire tint in direct sunlight, very pretty.
Smells like a PB&J! Boy that smell takes me back, this is straight up peanut butter & jelly!
Tastes just like a PB&J sammich!
Mouthfeel is sticky, but rather thin. Somewhat off putting. I was hoping the peanut butter was more prevalent and thus thicker.
Overall I thought the smell and taste of this are great, but it was rather thin and the liquid jelly-ness I got was slightly off putting.

Had it on-tap at Spring House Tap Room.
A- Has a nice blue reddish color with meduim head.
S- The smell is good has that berry flavor of jelly and peanut butter in it and has some earthyness from the hops.
T- Well this just went down hill. Not enough berry flavor and the peanut butter doesn't work. This is one that the aroma is way better then the taste.
M- Peanut butter and very little berry flavor didn't last long. It had that lager yeast background that just didn't work for me. Very depressing.
O- This is purely from a home brewer stand point I do not own or professionally brew for a living but I think this would of been good if this was done as a wheat ale or just a american ale.
The taste had a lager background that does not work in my book It need more a fruitty background to get a true berry jelly flavor to compliment the peanut flavor.
The idea is super and in tweaking the recipe maybe bumping more berry flavor and changing the yeast to the ones I mention this beer would be a real treat to drink.
