LOOK: Pours a light golden color with with a white foam. Good clarity, a bit of lace.
SMELL: Tropical fruit in a mostly hoppy nature, you can definitely pick up pineapple, but also citrus and pine.
TASTE: Grapefruity citrus, pine and herb are in the forefront with some pineapple and mango in the sustain. Nice fruitiness but still holding very true to its ipa roots. Pale malts with a bready, grainy flavor which works as a fine template for the hops.
FEEL: Medium bodied, solid medium carbonation. Hop flavor lingers into the aftertaste.
OVERALL: This is a good option when you're in the mood for ipa and want something a little different. Not pineapple heavy, but it doesn't have to be. Fairly bitter actually, which was nice.

this is another one that i was fairly impressed with (my notes gave it a 4.25 from tap) when i visited the taproom the other day so i left with a bottle for a closer inspection. enjoyed from my batch 2 TB 22oz snifter intihar style.
a - brew pours a transparent orange yellow with a thin frothy head that leaves great lace on the glass as it dissolves.
s - nose is fruity with a nice splash of pineapple dancing over a pale ale. not too hoppy since the pineapple seems to fill that void.
t/m - extremely refreshing and a really solid pale...this is definitely no ipa, but a really nice fruited pale.
o - with the increase in popularity of the hopped out pales that are practically ipas, it is really nice to see a fruited pale because lets face it, we get bored of malty pales quick and there are so many great hopped out pales that are practically ipas...so it is nice to see a pale trying to be a pale, but better yet, with a pineapple compliment which works really well with the brew to give it some oomf. another great beer from spring house. very pleased with what is coming out of this brewery.

Pour is a transparent golden orange with a tight white head. Nose is lighter, it has a light grain bill, fair amount of pineapple, a bit sweeter and the fruity tropical notes seem more from fruit not from hops. Taste is doughy biscuit, fruity pebbles, faint tropical fruit notes, and a bit of grassy hops. Well carbonated, light body, soft feel.
