This is probably the stop I prefer to go to in Chicago, as it seems to have the most broad selection at the most affordable prices. Store is big and layout of beer section is quite accomodating. Found a great array of the usual suspects as well as locals like Half Acre. Service was vitually non existent, but maybe most who come to this place know what they're looking for. This place is fun to come to if only to look but you will probably find something to take home with you. I would and intend to stop there again next time I'm in Chicago.

The wife and I were about to have dinner at EL Ideas, an avant-garde restaurant in Chicago. We debated whether to bring a bottle of something. We got to the restaurant, talked to the dude and he told us to drive to Binny’s, not far away. Well, between Chicago traffic, street closures and assorted bullshit, it took us forever to get there and back to the restaurant. We held back dinner service- I am surprised the chefs weren’t pissed at us.
But back to Binny’s! I am sad I didn’t have more time to peruse this truly ginormous store. Two levels and escalators, need I say more? Turn right and then another right as you exit the second-floor escalator and find a sheer amount of beer. Old Stock, Port-Lost Abbey, the Eclipse series, Bruery, Almanac, Cascade, 4 Hands, Jolly Pumpkin and many more… obscure brews from all over the US, plus all the customary packs and bombers from every big name in American craft brewing. I owe this place another visit, and then some.

Wonderful selection of beer - especially on the import side, tons of European beers here. Standard Binnys pricing - pretty fair with the occasional sale. Staff is ok, if I need help I generally have to go find someone, but they're helpful once asked. Also there is a bar here with a nice tap list that occasionally offers some sought after options on draft.

My first and most frequented Binnys location. Great selection on par with others. Nice international aisle and good mix a 6 station. They've definitely cut back on inventory in the last few years but it's still best in class in the area.

Stopped here while at a conference. Great selection of local craft and all the solid domestic\import bottles. Picked up some Three Floyds and Pipeworks stuff. They really take craft seriously, and pricing is fair enough. Must go to Binny's if in the Chicagoland area.
