Definitely the place to go in downtown bellevue to pick up your brews. Great selection, and great staff, be sure to talk to them, this is not a go in and buy your drinks and leave kind of store. The really interesting stuff often doesn't even get to the shelves. Maybe they like to keep the unique bottles for people who appreciate them rather than some random person buying what they have no idea about.
I would go out of my way to buy from them instead of supporting this mass chain retail stores. We need to keep stores like Pete's around as they really are the life blood for the micro local brews.
Never bought anything there but beer so cannot comment on their other selections of beverages. Remember talk to them... I ended up asking if they had a Pliny the Elder and getting a 120 Dogfish head the next day when they came in.

It's a little hard to find this place, it's tucked away in an alley behind a Garts sporting goods store in downtown Bellevue.
Pete's is mainly a wine store, a huge one at that with over a thousand varities.
The beer section is on one wall with a cooler that has six or eight doors and several displays set up on the floor.
The beer selection is mostly west coast micros and imports with a few eastern micros such as Victory, Ommegang and Dogfishead.
This is not the biggest beer department in town but the prices here are among lowest in the area. To make up for their limited floor space, Jan , the beer buyer will special order any beer available to her. Adding to the value is a 10% case discount on all micro and import craft brews.Judging by the freshness dates on the beers that have them it seems they move a lot of beer here.
Once a month on a Saturday they'll have a micro beer tasting.
We hit the one in late March 2005 when Full Sail brewing had their Slipknot, Hopocity, and two vintages of Old Boardhead up for sampling among others.
If you're on a craft brew budget then this might be the place to shop.

Pete's is mostly a wine store with beer thrown in for good measure. They stock a lot of Pyramid and the like, but also carry Rodenbach, Erdinger, Stone, Rogue and a few more regularly. I once placed an order through them and it took 3 months to get half of it. The other half mysteriously was ignored. I would take your money to K's (a few blocks away) or to Bottleworks in Seattle before going to Pete's.
