Ok so i do frequent this shop when im trying to find beers that ahve sold out across town. They will always be the last store with it still in stock. My issue with them is they scratch off bottling dates. But sometimes youll find gems like choco yeti thats a year old sitting in the coolers and thats a great find. So be careful buying stuff that doesent age well at this shop. But it is still a diamond in the rough and the staff is actually pretty knowledgable.

This place is actually a hidden gem as far as craft beer. It's the most run-down crappy looking store you'll see in town, but inside they have two solid aisles of bottles and about 5 refrigerators full of beer. The guy who runs the store loves beer and is a very friendly guy if you get a chance to talk to him.
Every week or two they'll put some beer on a crazy discount for like $5 a 6-pack, so that's reason enough to stop in. They have a good selection of bottles but I'm afraid some of them have been sitting on the shelf for a very long time, including some IPAs that are over a year old. I'm usually careful to try to buy fresh beer here because it seems like they get so few customers buying good beer some of it can sit awhile and go bad.

Decent sized place in the semi sketchy strip behind jp. When you walk in, in the middle of the floor, there's always a big pile of cases of something on sale for an obscenely cheap price. Avoid it, it's usually very very old. Also, a lot of their other beer is very old. I once noticed that the dates on the necks of a whole mess of bottles had mysteriously been rubbed off. Maybe it was the packaging, but it's enough to make you want to avoid too many repeat trips. Then again, it's pretty cheap and they have a decent selection for the area. They seem to get more local (FL) brewed stuff than most stores in gville. The guy(s) behind the counter will say hi and ring you up quickly, but they also occasionally try to push the cheap stuff in the middle of the store that you know is skunked.

Went to Sai Kwik instead of Extra Discount Liquours across the street today and I was delightfuly suprised. They had a few of my favorites and a great selection of Lagunita's at a great price. I was extremely suprised to find Hobgoblin. It is no Gator Beverage but if you can't get up to university Sai has a decent selection where you can find at least one thing you'll like. Good variety of English ales, microbrews, and belgians. The prices at sai are very fair. If you live in the southwest quadrant and don't feel like driving too far for a decent selection Sai's is the place.

I saw that this place had no reviews and was near my house so I decided to head over to check it out.
First things first, this is a straight convenience store with chips, groceries, sodas, and the whole nine. However, unlike most other convenience stores they have seven (yes the number 7) cooler doors dedicated to beer. They obviously have all the standard BMC, they also have MD 20/20 in there, but they have an excellent selection of imports and micros including a very full DFH lineup (they have 120 minute).
He will sell you singles but not of everything, prices on singles might not be as good as other places but this store probably does a lot less volume.
