Don't bother ever going here. My company has been buying liquor from them for years for our company parties and events. Today, the manager was so rude to me and then the 2 boys that work behind the counter laughed and made fun of the situation. When I asked a question, they threatened me. It was a very uncomfortable situation and I was on a mission to make a large purchase. That didn't happen and will never happen again.

There are better liquor stores just blocks away on Main in Norman. They lost our company as customers and we will never recommend them again. Total Snobs!

I will go out of my way to let everyone I know how rude they are.

I like Cellars due to it's size and variety, however I feel like it doesn't have as much stuff as some of the smaller stores in the area. The employees are nice enough, but in such a large store they are practically non-existent. I like this establishment, but there are other places in town I'd prefer.

Moved my sister into OU, and was looking to score some Oklahoma beer before heading back home to Fort Worth. This place came up on BA and so I checked it out. What do I take from visiting this store? Awesome singles collection, one of the best I have ever seen anywhere. While I started with a pick-six, I ended up buying a 6-pack sampler from Choc Beer, outta Krebs, OK, which was packaged in an awesome box. Definitely recommend this place, hard to walk away from that singles wall, there is something for everyone. I can't speak for bars but as far as stores go in Norman, this one has gotta be hard to beat for those of us who geek out on beer.

This has been my go to liquor store for about the past year. On the plus side the store is massive and boasts a nice selection of beers, at least for OK. Another benefit is that you can buy any beer there as a single rather than as part of a 6/4 pack (although they don't offer a make-your-own-6 at a flat rate - you have to purchase each one individually). However, I have found that they have some offerings there which are past their prime. Therefore, I recommend checking the dates of anything you purchase there, or at least stick to the seasonals or new releases. The price of having such a huge selection is that sometimes certain brews might sit of the shelf for a long time...

I'm totally not sure why I haven't reviewed this place before, because I stop here just about everytime I'm in town. The Cellar is centrally located in Norman & within good proximity of the major watering holes or university campus. The place is fairly sizable much like a grocery store with tons of shelving devoted to your beer, liquor or wine needs. The beer section is well organized & neatly labeled with ratings & suggestions with an awesome selection of singles from the mix-a-six wall. However, I'd suggest to call ahead or make special arrangements for the limited or special releases as this store gets a ton of "foot traffic" afterall it's in a college town. Overall, the staff is decently "beer savy" which was especially true when starflyer58 worked here. If you're an area BA then you're probably already shopping here, so this review goes out to the traveling BA who may be passing through looking for a good "road beer" stop. This is it!

This is another branch of The Cellar family. This store is no exception to quality and service. The store is large and spacious and is one of the better store downtown Norman. It was nice to see this store go in. The store offers a wide array of liquors, wine and beer. The beer selection is one of the best in Norman. The quality of the beer is no exception, they take good care of there customers here. The service is top notch also. The will ask you what your looking for and try to help you find the beer or help educate you on beer styles for the beginner. The selection is great also, there are over 500 different brew from a plethora of brewers all over the united states and world. The store is slightly pricey but you pay for what you get. If you want great service, great quality, and great selection in Norman then you go here.
