My wife and I took a day trip to the Eastern Shore so we stopped here for lunch.
Atmosphere is pretty cool. The restaurant is in an old bank building that has been renovated while keeping the old feeling of the building. One of the dining areas even had the old vault door on the hinges. The bar area was pretty opened up too.
They had 12 beers on tap. I saw Victory Prima Pils, Sierra Nevada, Fat Tire, two Bells offerings, and Bear Republic Racer 5. Don't remember what the others were. I went with the Bear Republic (I'm kind of a hop-head), my wife just had water. I overheard the waitress tell another table they only had bud light and miller light for bottles.
For food we both got burgers, I'd rate them pretty good. The fries and onion rings were good as well. My only knock is the menu is kind of small, but then again we were here during the off-season so that might be why.
Prices were pretty reasonable. If it wasn't for the huge toll on the bridge-tunnel I'd go back more often.

They have a rotating selection of 12 draughts, many bottles, and excellent food. Fun pub. The music scene is like San Francisco in 1964 in that it’s forward looking, avant guard, ahead of the crowd, many genres. By the summer of love, everyone knew about San Fran (the dock of the bay...) and this is a secret cultural mecca, for now. It’s by the dock of the bay on the east coast.
From sandwiches to steak to seafood, the food is quite good and well-presented. The bar service is good and I hear from others that table service is also good. Darts and other fun activities. Cigars are on sale, but law requires outdoors. Wine variety is also good. Wi-fi is fast and the people are friendly. Open for lunch and dinner and - yeah! - open late.
It's open year-round and summer is wide open because more tourists hit town. Two band nights most summer weekends (3 on holiday weekends!) and a rare place for live music in the winter!

We stayed at Bay Creek in Cape Charles for a few days to play some golf, and this place seemed to be one of three restaurants in town so we had to try it. It is easy to find, and street parking is also easy to get.
Upon entering you see a decent sized bar on the right with a nice tap selection. The bar was crowded so we ended up in a booth in the back of the bar area. This is an old bank building so the architecture is cool. We ate here two nights and it was crowded both times so you may want to make a reservation, otherwise expect a wait.
On draft they had Stone IPA, SNPA, DFH 60 Min, New Holland Kolsch, Guinness, Yuengling, Old Speckled Hen, Bells Oberon and Amber, SA Summer Ale, and a few others I didn't take note of. There was also a decent micro bottle list but we stuck to the drafts.
The food was also very good from the appetizers to the main meals. The bourbon marinated rib eye was my favorite over the two dinners we had here. The rockfish was also good. Service was good and prompt.
This is a nice hidden gem for those staying or passing through this area of Virginia.
