I visited Niko's a couple times, and this place is certainly a diamond in the rough of the wasteland that is Lebanon, PA. It definitely has a pretty upscale bar/restaurant vibe. While I've never eaten there, they are known for some of the area's best steak cuts, and you will pay in excess of $40 or more for a good steak. They also have a cigar lounge, and their bar boasts a variety of martinis and infused vodka concoctions (the latter of which are a little pricey).
The floorplan in the bar area is pretty open, albeit long and narrow, with a few tables adjacent to the left wall when you walk in. There is a very long bar to the right of the entrance that stretches all the way to the back of the room, so seating at the bar is plentiful... and quite comfortable as well. Bar staff are always extremely friendly and seem to know a bit about beer. Oh yeah, and the bathrooms are immaculate!
Moving on to the beer, their tap selection is quite impressive. They have at least twenty rotating taps with an emphasis on PA breweries. On my last visit, I noticed Troegs, Victory, Stoudt's, ABC and Sly Fox taps. They also have two Niko's brews (contract brewed by local breweries) for something different. They round out their tap selection with a Magic Hat here and an Anchor there, perhaps a Sierra Nevada selection, a few typical imports and just a couple marcos. Their bottle selection is situated below the bar, so it is hard to tell how good the selection is. However, I have noticed a varied selection including everything from East Coast standards like DFH and Brooklyn to Belgians to macros and malternatives. Also, their beer menu on their web site isn't kept up to date, so don't go by what they have on the drink menu. I would call ahead to see what they have on tap. Still, this is definitely worth a trip if you live in Lebanon County. They have a solid tap selection that should please most beer geeks, and the atmosphere and service are both excellent.
