Served cold from 500ml bottle into pilsner mug.

L) Clear bitter-copper colour, lots of bubbles coming up. Thin white film. Colour is attractive for a lager; the lack of a decent head nicht so much.

S) Not a lot. Maybe a hint of sweet raisiny malt.

T) Warm slightly toasted malt, hints of burnt toffee.

F) Full bodied and quite fizzy.

O) A great Vienna style lager.

Got it from Czech R. 0,5L bottle.

A - Clear dark orange color, with darker two finger foam. Lasting couple of minutes.
S - Weak aroma of malt,nothing special.
T/M - I know that most of "Demon" named beers are Strong lagers. This is also similar in taste. Warm and bitter, low carbonation, very sweet and sticky aftertaste. Mostly caramel malt in taste.

O - Personally i do not like this type of beers. So,i will pass this one next time.

Poured from a 50 cl bottle into cold pint glasses. Typical amber color, very clear. Good white head that settles into a fine lace over the liquid, producing some Belgian lace as the beer goes down.

Smells of grains, just a general amber maltiness about it. Mild carbonation covers the initial burst of amber roasted malt. Sweet malt morphs into a standard hop bitterness in the finish.

This is not an overly complex beer, but true to the style and very crisp. It is refreshing in the way an amber beer can be - nothing for an afternoon at the beach, but I could certainly have a couple at a gathering.

Looks like a strong rye & water. Kinda a bright copper tan colour. Fizzy head died a quick death and became a off-white ring.

Nice aroma. Rich malts, lighty toaste with some hop spiciness.

Bit of a metallic blast and the beginning, but evens out nicely between some spicy hop and the aforemention toasted malts. Finish is dry.

Nice medium body with near spot on carbonation.

Much better than the mexican attempt at this style.

Pours a fairly deep bronze colour, with a more than adequate foamy tan head. The head slowly falls to a thin cap, but doesn't entirely go away.

Smells of caramel and grains, relatively malty aroma for a lager. Noble hops are notable in the aroma as well. A pretty appetizing smell.

Biscuits and caramel carry a fairly strong malt profile across the front of the tongue. Something fruity hits in the middle, bringing berries to mind. The finish seems very much like the only other beer I've had from this brewery, the Lobkowicz Baron, though it has been quite some time since I've had that beer. All in all it is quite pleasant.

The mouthfeel is full, almost chewy, and the carbonation is lively. Altogether it works well for this beer.

I've had this at a beerfest before and it really didn't work for me then. I'm glad I gave it another shot.

Tall, brown 500 ml bottle, with best before date on label: The Brewmaster's Beer. Had tasted this at a couple of tastings, and was impressed with the small sample.
Pours a brownish copper color, large foamy light tan head with good retention. Spider web of lacing looked very nice. Mild aroma of toasted malt. The flavor is well balanced with caramel malt and floral hops. The mouthfeel is dry and clean. Very smooth, refreshing and easy to drink.

got this bottle in a trade with stephenlouis. thanks stephen!

pours a nice copper colour with a quarter inch of fairly fine head. the head drops slowly and leaves a thick ring of lace.

aroma is ok. dms and a bit of diacetyl initially. once it has had a minute to breathe there's a nice maltyness there. bread and biscuit malts. hint of smokeyness.

taste is ok. again there's that initial bit of dms, but then a nice mild bitterness and a pleasant malt body. slightly fruity.

mouthfeel is ok. decent body and the carbonation level feels right.

drinkability is ok too. a decent beer, but nothing to spectacular.

This beer poured from a 500 mL bottle into a pilsner glass a clear amber colour with a frothy, one-finger head that quickly dwindled to a ring.

The aroma was an assertive mix of grassy hops and caramel from the malt. Some spicy hops snuck in, and overall I was impressed by how distinctive the beer's aroma was.

The hops and malt battled nicely for my palate and there was some added complexity in the flavour — bread and biscuits in the malt. It finished dry with some slight bitterness. It would go well with Mexican food — better than Negra Modelo....
